Yes, like a philly cheese steak I meant.

I dunno, I heard Mayo on cheese steaks is actually a thing so I’m curious to see if it adds flavor or just gets in the way.

I'm not sure. I don't mind mayo on certain sandwiches like, say, a burger, or maybe even a turkey sandwich, but I can't really imagine it adding anything to a cheesesteak.

On another note, I know some places also add peppers as well, but I'm generally not a fan of peppers, so I tend to leave them off as a cheesesteak topping . . . or a pizza topping as well.

Peppers and onions just get in the way of a cheese steak for me. Then there’s mushrooms. 🤮

Ooh, I don't think I've ever tried mushrooms on one before, but I'd give it a whirl, honestly.

When it comes to mushrooms, they're much better when they're fresh mushrooms from the produce section, and not those really slimey and bitterly salty things that come in the jars or cans.

To each his own. I’m not the biggest fan of mushrooms, but I’ll take your onions and peppers off you.

Yeah, I dunno, I just like appreciating that salty beef and cheese flavor. If anything I’ve actually grown to like peppers less as I’ve gotten older unless it’s like a pasta sausage pepper mix. I find peppers can also get in the way of a spicy Italian sausage roll.

The only other time I don’t really mind peppers is on a pizza but that’s about it really.

I like raw peppers on a salad. It took me a little practice to cut them up because there’s hundreds of seeds inside. But after doing it enough times at work I got the hang of it.

When I was younger, Mom used to make stuffed peppers. It’s a hollowed out peppers filled with ground beef, rice, and tomato sauce. The inside was okay, but what was left of the pepper was the mushy squashed thing.

Back 30 years ago, I was working full time, going to art school at night, and even squeezed in time to play in a band. So I was never home to eat, let alone cook.

So for about two weeks, I drove through McD’s and got a #2. Two cheeseburgers, supersize fries, large Diet Coke. Every day.

Ate in my car driving to my next gig. Didn’t care what I was eating, just the easiest thing to shove in my face.

.
Many nights I’d be up to the wee hours doing my art lessons, sustained with black coffee. It wasn’t uncommon to go through a pot a night.

I would not recommend these habits to anybody.
