I know where you are going with this. It is only the act of transformation that she cannot control. You were going to imply that she cannot control her actions, correct?

Herb: Not at all. I was going on a completely different angle. I'm sorry I misphrased that, so let me say this again: You said that you cannot control whether or not you transform if something is made of less than more than half silver, but if it has less than half, you cannot control whether or not you transform. Is that correct?

Herb: OK. So according to your theory, if a ring is made of less than 50% silver, you can control your transformations. If a microwave is made of less than 50% silver, you can control your transformations. If a refrigerator is made of less than 50% silver, you can control your transformations. Is this all correct?

Yes. But it also depends on types. The one he had on was from eastern romania. Just like yours. That is were most jewerly silver is mined.

Herb: Now this is what troubles me. Pretend you have two items, a ring and a refrigerator. Both have the exact same type of silver in them, let's say it is the Eastern Romania silver. Now let's say that when you look at each material in each item, the ring has 5 ounces worth total of all materials, and the refrigerator has 50 ounces total of all materials. Pretend the ring has 4.8 ounces worth of Eastern Romania silver. According to your theory, you would not be able to control your transformation on that one, as more than 50% of it is made of Eastern Romania silver. Pretend the refrigerator has 12 ounces of Eastern Romania silver. According to your theory, you would be able to control your transformation on that one, as less than 50% of it is made of Eastern Romania silver. That's what I don't understand. Why is it that you can control your transformation in an item with 12 ounces, yet you can't in an item with 4.8 ounces?
