I would say the book can be used, with caution...it would be great for looking for clues to learn about the author, the lab scientist, and he is also probably knowledgeable about a lot of stuff, but since he is the bad guy, something could be suspicious about it...

I'd suggest we update the security of the apartment. As for the book, no idea, although what it said about mages as accurate.

Hey guys! Look! I got a miniature cerberus puppy! He won't even get nearly half the size of a normal cerberus. Maybe 7 feet tall at most. I named him Spike.

Well, that's one way to update our security. I think my Summons could be helpful, too.

I can create vortexes anywhere now...*creates vortex on the opposite end of the hallway* See? *closes vortex* Although we know how some people are with falling into them...

The vortex is a good idea, except for our little running gag of Vincent falling into them.
How about a password? One to get into the apartment complex and for each of us for our rooms?
