*A man approaches and steps into the faint light. He looks... Like a hybrid, but... better. He doesn't have bat wings, but... avian ones...*

Man: We... Can't keep outrunning them! Those stupid witches corrupted them!

*A wolf like snarl is heard, followed b a scream... and then a gurgling sound*

Woman: We... Might be able to go to the Elf queen! She might be able to help us-

Man: No.... That shadow beast the bat demons use as a midwife is altering everyone's memory... Everyone will think us not as allies, but as feral beasts.

Woman: NO! Why, why would they do such things!

Man: It's apart of a plan she's made. She's trying to start a war throughout the forest... She wants to turn the bat demons against us, by altering their memories and making all of them... have the corrupted ones in them...

*A wail is heard, and the woman rushes over and picks the bundle up. It's a little baby*

Woman: There, there sweetie... Momma's here....

Man: It kills me to know my people are either being corrupted, killed, or turned to stone!

Woman: It pains me too. Do you not think I hurt? They are my people too!

Man: I know...

*A loud scratching sound is heard*

Man: We need to go now!

*They start to run*
