I bet there are days where Simon feels stupid, Theodore doesn't feel hungry, Brittany thinks she's ugly, Jeanette refuses to read, or Eleanor feels lazy.

I remember reading that Ross Jr. was completely disappointed with how the "Chipmunks in Low Places" album came out, reasoning that Alvin was too wimpy, and not the usual "mischevious and naughty brat" that he always is.
I dunno. His singing of I ain't no Dang Cartoon sounded pretty tough to me.
