The beginning there with Simon making you feel like you're in the twilight zone reminds me of that "Dave's Wonderful Life" episode where Dave finds Simon on his TV, and is greeted with "You're entering another dimension of sight, sound, and time".

That's actually a pretty good album.

I remember reading that Ross Jr. was completely disappointed with how the "Chipmunks in Low Places" album came out, reasoning that Alvin was too wimpy, and not the usual "mischevious and naughty brat" that he always is.
