Uh, no, it's just the first three holiday specials (It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlies Brown Thanksgiving, and A Charlie Brown Christmas), but they're all included in a boxed set.
I have that. It's one of my more treasured sets.

I've been tryng to catch them on TV every year, lately but I usually alway miss them. Everything come on so early now days.:smirk:
I'd buy the DVD's anyway. The TV versions are all butchered up and highly edited for the 20% more commercial interruptions of today. One time they edited out Snoopy's reaction to Schroader playing War songs, making his depressed howl and exit from the party (which Linus mistakes for the Great Pumpkin) pointless.

I don't know, I've noticed the only special that seems to have butchered slightly is the thanksgiving special, as on the DVD, I noticed two scenes I've never before (until then), one where Snoopy and Woodstock go through a large chest and don their little pilgrim outfits, and then later after The Peanuts leave for Charlie Brown's grandmother, Snoopy and Woodstock stick around and enjoy a REAL Thanksgiving dinner.

Other than that, everything else seems to be the same, I know, because I have the Great Pumpkin special on an OLD tape (from 1993) I believe, and it had more stuff cut from it then than they broadcast today.

I think DrTooth was referring to the lesser-known holiday specials and even moreso now, even those specials aforementioned are alotted for time.

I always thought that abc was always the worst when it came to commercials?

I remember both of those scenes. But was upset when abc cut out the end.

I remember seeing those, but aren't sure if they were on TV or not. I think that the credits were the Snoopy and Woodstock eating Thanksgiving dinner, but since they cut the credits out now to promote their sucky programming, I think they might have just cut it out. They show WAY too many commercials, it seems that every 5 minutes or when there's a conflict or whatever, there's a commercial. That's why they had to add the extra half hour to the Charlie Brown Christmas. Cause ABC or whoever wanted to cut somethings out of it to make it a half hour special, and the people who produced it said no, so they made an extra half hour of stuff. OH, and I was looking last night at something else, and I found Alvin and the Chipmunks have a free video on iTunes. I think it's a song they did for the movie or something like that. Daniel

Getting back on topic, I've noticed a few episodes have been resurfacing on YouTube lately.

THIS time, I'm going to download them and save them on a CD-ROM in case Warner Brothers goes deleting happy again!
