Another one of Steve Whitmires characters, Lips, got smacked in the door (by doc) in A Muppet family Christmas. do you think steve whitmire likes to get his arm smacked in the door, or could it be a coincidence (probably the latter)?

In "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson" Bean was running the projector and he messed up and got the film all over him. Funny stuff

Yeah, atleast his own original characters do I guess. Look at Rizzo. He gets walked on all the time too.

Also, the whole idea of Bean being the "cute one that gets beat up all the time" reminds me a little of Grover. He is the self-proclaimed cute one on Sesame Street and he is almost always long-suffering!
