Well, I have a slightly different wishlist. Mine does not include Elmo at all, as even the most hair-brained visitor to this site knows I hate him. But, it's inevitable that he will be released, so I included him anyway. Here's mine:

S3: Cookie Monster with two chocolate-chip cookies (one with a bite out of it), glass of milk and big "C"
Sherlock Hemlock with magnetic hat, magnifying glass and "clue" of some sort
Telly Monster with tuba, pogo stick and two triangles (good idea here)
Rosita with guitar, Spanish flag and Spanish-English dictionary

S4: Elmo with Dorothy in fishbowl, crayon and television
Lefty the Salesman with letter "O", letter "Z", egg box and magnetic hat
Waiter Grover with waiter's tray, notepad and pencil
Fat Blue with table, hamburger, plate and glass of Coke

S5: Bip Bippadotta with record, lava lamp and fat cat ("Fat Cat Scat", get it?)
Prairie Dawn with megaphone, piano, poetry book and vase of flowers
Herry Monster with barbells, Hercules and broken vase
Brother Bart with joke book, squirting flower (that shoots air) and magnetic bow-tie

S6: Monsterpiece Theater Cookie with book, pipe, pitcher of water and chair
Mr. Snuffleupagus with book and sunglasses (the trunk is so long he won't be able to fit much else)
Don Music with piano, book of music and bust of Beethoven
Cookie Hood with magnetic hat, feather and three cookies

Well, That Announcer, Big Bird IS coming between Series 1 and 2 as a boxed figure or an exclusive, remember?

OK, thanks- I didn't know that! I edited my post to have Rosita in S3 instead of Big Bird.

I have had this thought for a long time regarding Bruno and how he would work well with the Oscar we will be getting soon. What do you think of this idea. It would be cool if Bruno came out with some kind of magnets in his hands so that he can hold Oscar's can. Of course that would have to involve planning ahead. They would need to put magnets by the can handles on Oscar now for this to work.

You know, I just posted a comment in another thread venting my distaste for useless variants in the Muppet line--but I've gotta say, at the risk of contradicting myself, I would LOVE to own an Alistair Cookie (mentioned by both Minor Muppetz and That Announcer). That's a variant I wholeheartedly support--he existed, so to speak, on Sesame Street, and showed up repeatedly in sketches that were--most of the time--delightful.

(If Palisades is going to have two versions of the same character, I want them to use versions that actually appeared with some frequency on the show--Bedtime Ernie and Bert make sense to me, Bedtime Grover and Bedtime Oscar do not.)

Here's my lineup proposal:
SERIES 3
Cookie Monster
Prairie Dawn
Sherlock Hemlock
Gladys

SERIES 4
Telly
The Count
Herry
Lefty the Salesman
exclusive: Alistair Cookie

SERIES 5
Elmo
Rosita
Countess Dahling von Dahling
Don Music

SERIES 6
Grover (regular/non-super)
Zoe
Mumford
Fat Blue

Snuffy fits in there somewhere, either between series or as an addition to a series. Bruno should be offered too, sometime later than Snuffy, but that would have to depend on Snuffy sales (Bruno's not as big, and would therefore be cheaper, but he's also not nearly as well-known).

Grungetta, Biff, Sully, and others would come in later series, if any. The afore-mentioned Bedtime Ernie and Bert could anchor Series 7 and 8: Grungetta and Biff with BT Ernie in 7 and Sully with BT Bert in 8.

Here's some additions to my proposed line-up:

MEGA MUPPETS
Mr. Snuffleupagus
Big Bird

EXCLUSIVES
Bedtime Ernie
Bedtime Bert
Reporter Kermit (This is a really dirty one. Palisades goes right now and produces Reporter Kermit- everything from prototype to all the figures mass-produced in China and sitting in some warehouse. Then they wait until S3 or S4 of the Sesame Street line, and release him. The license is only to produce the figures, I'm sure they could still release them.)

I forgot to add Betty Lou to the line-up somewhere! I guess she can go in S7.

That Announcer, I think all your proposal look pretty good, however, Palisades is not planning on having Kermit in the SS line at all.

Yes. And DTF, the figure of my online namesake's planned for S2, along with Bert and Roosevelt Franklin and the Martians.
So, there's an open spot in your S4 lineup.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, you could throw Baby Bear or Benny in that spot.
