Some of the people who worked on that show now works on Phineas and Ferb such as Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, and Dan Povenmire.

Rocko's Modern Life is the ONLY Nicktoon as far as I'm concerned, it was freakin' awesome, but boy was it horribly under-rated, probably because little kids couldn't get it; I was the ONLY one growing up in school who actually liked that show, everyone else hated it.

Glad Comcast added Nicktoons TV several years ago so I can get all the Rocko fix I need, not to mention there's also YouTube.

Speaking of which, check this out...

It just keeps getting funnier and funnier!

You know, I love Rocko and everything, but I wish they kept that kind of humor in the other show by the creator, "Camp Lazlo." It isn't terrible, it just isn't very good. I do love the character designs though. I'd buy the toys just for their looks. I'm really disappointed there isn't too much Rocko merchandising.

I really don't see why Viacom has to be so dang stubborn about releasing any of the old toons on DVD in sets. I've always loved Nicktoons (except for Rocket Power and All Growed Up).

I remember seeing a girl's T-shirt at Hot Topic a year or so ago, but never anything else. They really need to make plush or something. At least buttons.

Ahh, I think I missed out on quite a lot as a kid. Mom hated the show, and we weren't allowed to watch it.:smirk:

I used to think that Rocko was kind of on the same level as Cow and Chicken as far as risque, kind of in jokes are concerned, but apparently Rocko went further than that, as some episodes have scenes that were edited out in re-runs due to objectionable content.

I think that I like Rocko a little better. Haven't really been able to get into Caw and Chicken too much, but I think it's hilarious from what I've watch of it!

Yeah, Nickelodeon doe have to watch what they do sometimes because concerned parents will questions them about it, he-he-heeeeeeeee!

Again, like Rocko, I was really the only one growing up (in school) that also liked Cow and Chicken... none of the other kids liked it, probably because they couldn't get it... and apparently it was too gross for them to.

But for both shows, there are COUNTLESS jokes, plots, etc that I was simply entertained by as a kid, but now that I'm older, I GET them...

Like the episode of C&C where Cow was trying to get the popular boy in school to notice her, while her friends poked fun at her because her "horns were too small", so she spent the rest of the episode trying to "enhance" her horns. I didn't get it then, but I do now.
