Except you don't have to have an internet connection, or a username and password to log into cable, and it's all just one service, not multiple different services requiring multiple different accounts. :stick_out_tongue:

Cable has just gotten pricier. Plus many folks just don’t have the time to watch stuff live anymore. It was fun for me in college but now I’m like 🤷🏿‍♂️.

I mean you're not wrong, but as they say, you get what you pay for.

The last time I had cable, they offered over 200 channels, and I ended up watching only three. Food Network, News12, and CBS just to watch The Price Is Right.
At least Optimum was more reliable than Comcast will ever be.

The only issues we've ever had with Comcast being unreliable is every once in a while the internet and phone connection will hiccup, or a security camera will stop working.

The key thing at the end of the day is why pay for other channels you know you won’t use?

That's why you drop those channels from your service package . . . and, of course, when you drop certain channels or channel packages, that helps reduce the cost.

The only other issue again is just for those who don’t have the time to watch stuff live. I mean if you wanna do that then you do you, your life pleasures in the end, but I just sadly don’t have much joy in watching stuff live (by the time I last kept live cable, it was just to watch the Walking Dead in 2018.... and I gave up on that show completely).
