I'll pray for you and your friend and that poor little girl too. I know how your friend feels. Scary things can happen unexpectedly when you're on the road. But I'll keep you all in my prayers.

She... this is so difficult, she didn't make it. He's not facing criminal charges, but we don't know what the future holds. Guys, this guy was my best man at my wedding, I've known him since sixth grade. This is very difficult.

Just an update;
Tim is doing well and anxious to move on with life. I heard Graciela's death was reported in the paper, but none of us were in any mood to look it up. We went to Chili's the other night and left our troubles at the door. I spoke with him on the phone this morning and the police are not finished investigating his truck, the family has not tried to contact him (nor the media) and his insurance company is backing up his claim and ready to go to court if need be. So in the midst of all this, it seems (for my bud at anyrate) things are at the moment; okay.
On a personal note, if you knew my friend, you'd know he's the king of repression. He has a tendancy to just bury everything deep down inside instead of dealing with them and I'm worried he may be doing that now. Yes, it does help him move on, but he's also nearing 30 and not very focused on fulfilling his desires to be a recording engineer, and I feel this is another set back that may seriously affect him in the long run. Please keep those prayers coming.
