In that case, we'll have to make sure this thread stays at least on the first page so that it will be easier to find!
 I don't think I'll make the ones in NY, (Brooklyn's a killer to get to and LI's even worse), but I have a friend near Hartferd, so I'll see what I can do. Break a leg!

I just discovered this thread BEAR. I'm so thrilled for you.

I hope the season run goes well indeed and all of you enjoy the production.
I'm still considering seriously re-joining the dorms and I've had my broadband connected so I can get on more freely now. But I'm waiting to see how my first bill goes and how I can manage but I'm not majorly worried. I know I can sort myself out with God's help and my friend Bill is a big spiritual encouragement to me with his lovely bubbles while we do our bible study together.
Hopefully we will be back at the dorms sometime this year. And once again all the best with the show.:excited:

Okay, despite following several of the links, I can't find this. How much do the tickets cost?

Greetings from Kentucky!

Sorry it's taken me so long for an update but it hasn't always been easy finding time to sit down at the computer and write. Travelling so much, we don't always stay in one place for more than one night so we can't settle into a hotel room as much and take everything out of our bags.

Anyway...so far the tour has been great and aside from some great runs of our show, we've been able to do a little sightseeing as well. We flew out out to Milwaukee, WI, on March 5th to some mighty cold weather. It was quite a shock going from such nice warm weather in California to that, but we got all bundled in our warmies and were okay.
Our first three stops were Platteville, Wisconsin; Macomb, Illinois; and Rolla, Missouri. I must say that the midwest is quite an interesting place with some interesting and nice people. It is an easy-going world. Some of you Sesame Street folks might be interested to know about Platteville's pride in being the home to the world's largest letter M. It is a letter M made of limestone in the side of a mountain and is central to the tri-state area. We climbed to the top and took plenty of pictures of the beautiful snow-covered countryside. It was beautiful. You also can't go to Wisconsin without trying their cheese, so we had their famous cheese curds. It was interesting. Not as cheesy tasting as regular cheese...if that makes ANY sense.
In Missouri, we took a tour of the Merimac Caverns. They are these beautiful caves with stalagtites, stalagmites, underground rivers and waterfalls. It was awesome! I felt like I was in Fraggle Rock and I picked up a stone which I swear could be a Fraggle pebble. Maybe at Christmas I will "pass it on" to someone.
We didn't do a whole lot in Illinois but drive around Macomb. Not a very large or interesting city. Pretty dull really (no offense to those who live there). I didn't find Oceanview, IL., but I hear there really IS a resteraunt called Friendly's and I'm hoping we stop at one and not the Don't Drop Inn.
Today we started our long 900 mile drive to Maryland but since it is such a long drive, we are stopping on the way twice. Tonight we're in Louisville, KY. It's funny how the state of Kentucky really is shaped like a drumstick! I hope I can get some really good southern home-style cookin' on this trip! Here in Louisville is where the big Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory is. I'm hoping we can swing by it tomorrow before continuing our drive. The architecture here is gorgeous and it's actually the first really city we've been to. Up until now, all we've seen is farmland.
Well, that's not much, but it's all I got so far. I miss you all so much and I hope you're well.

Bryan

Upcoming cities:
March 13th - Cheverly, MD
March 14th - Our day trip to Washington, DC.

I think it depends on the venue. They're all different. Where were you interested in seeing it?

It sounds like your have a lot of fun, Bear! That would be great if The letter M were ever fetured on Sesame Street. I wish you were going through Corbin Kentucky. It were Cornal Sanders first resturant is located. It a mesuem, and the keep some of the hotel room and the original dining room where he used to eat every moring up and the kictchen with the original pressure cooker that he cook his famous chicken in. There have the original cash register and everything. There also a mordren resturant in there where you can get sonthing to eat. So it like a meseum/resturant. But I think it the hotel that he used to own with a kitchen in it, but the first franchise resturant is actually in Illinois.

Wow, that's awesome, Bryan! Thanks for the update, it's really nice to hear from you. Sorry about the cold in Wisconsin, hehe. I can imagine that would be a bit of a shock after California! But it sounds like you're having a pretty good time so far... I hope you continue to! Can't wait to hear from you again!

Hey Bry! It's great to hear from you pal! I wasn't able to make it up to Macomb, but I'm sure the show went great. Sorry your stay in Illinois was dull... but, hey, that's Illinois for ya. :stick_out_tongue:

Can't wait to hear from you again pal! Have a great time!

Yeah, Illinois um... outside of Chicago... is dull. Yes. And I can say that, because I live here. And since I'm so close to Wisconsin... Yeah. It's cold. Can't help it, sorry. There IS a reason my mom is looking forward to her trip to California next weekend!

Anyway, glad you're having a good trip over all, and looking forward to hearing from you again! (Geez, this post feels like it's just an echo of Prawnie's. Well what do you expect? I'm half him!)

<<<HUGS>>> to you, BEAR!
