Pops falls in love

That was a great chapter. Of course, it could have used some more meetings between Hilda and newer characters, like Beauregard and Lew Zeland, but it was still good.

CHAPTER 2

Later that afternoon Pops dressed himself up in good evening dress with a blue bow tie and purple tuxedo with tails. Making sure nobody saw him depart he left the theater and walked to a nearby florist and gift shop run by a man named Bill. "Good day to you sir." said the man named Bill from behind the counter when Pops entered.
"Good day." Pops replied. "I'd like your best I love you card and a bouquet of beautiful red roses please."
"Certainly sir." Bill prepared 15 large crimson-red roses into a bouquet and picked out a pretty card with a large heart on it and smaller hearts bordering the edge. Pops paid $12 for the roses and $15 for the card in which he wrote "Dear Hilda. Will you be mine? Your admirer Pops."

Bill said "Are you going to see this lady right now? Because if you are I can come along and give you an extra special free service as a bonus if you don't mind my presence."
Pops said "If Hilda will be tickled pink and it's completely free that's fine by me. What is it?"

Bill explained and Pops was amused by the thought. So Bill had a quick, big drink to get himself ready and then they set out together towards the Muppet theater. Hilda was certainly in for the biggest surprise of her life.

Sorry to keep you all up in the air but I won't be working on this fan fic of mine for awhile after all.
I will go back to it eventually but I've had some very personal concerns that I don't want to talk about, so please don't ask.
