EPILOGUE

Over the next two days Pops and Hilda made all the necessary arrangements for him to travel back overseas with her and they had a big farewell party for them and for each other since they were all going their separate ways.
Even Bill attended the party livening things up by blowing some bubbles here, there and everywhere. When he was ready to leave he said to Kermit "I am so sorry that I never got to join the cast of your show Mr.Frog. But I enjoyed meeting all of you and seeing the happy couple get together."
Kermit thanked him as they shook hand and flipper and Bill said if any of them ever re-united to do a new sort of Muppet Show maybe he could join them then.
As he left Kermit never said anything but somehow he had a gut feeling that one day the Muppets would be sure to attempt a comeback and somehow that fellow Bill would be added to their ranks.

As for Pops and Hilda, they said their farewells to everybody else, flew away on an airline service to Romania, where they were married and lived happily ever after.

Marty...I'm sorry I haven't commented on this story yet,but it's wonderful!
It's bad for Kermit & the rest to have the show cancelled. But it's a good thing for Pops & Hilda .This way they can go to Romania & get married!

Thanks Kathy. And isn't it all cleverly tied in with the end of the Muppet Show in real life and subtily referring to Muppets Tonight where Bill the Bubble Guy earned his place in Muppet memory, if not exactly in Muppet stardom?

Nice story... Good tie-ins at the end... And though the show may be cancelled, it doesn't necessarily mean the theater's now condemned nor that the Muppets will stop performing there... Just means they have other avenues of performing/entertainment to persue.
