Episode 7: Battle At Dead River

The tyrant Claw wants to reclaim his power over the animals. Cassius has a plan to frame Kimba for nasty deeds Tom and Tab commit and get rid of him. Claw is very pleased with the outcome of their scheme. Will Kimba survive and clear his name?

This episode introduces for the first time a lovely young female lion cub named Kitty. She meets Kimba while passing through his territory to visit her uncle. She and Kimba are very sweet about each other in future episodes.

Episode 8: The Insect Invasion

Kimba has his paws full trying to prevent all the animals farm crops from being devoured by a plague of grasshoppers on one side and worrying that the meat-eating predators may weaken from their vow never to eat their fellow animals on the other.

If the farm is a success and the fierce animals can adapt to eating vegetables the jungle will be a much more peaceful community. But how can those terrible armies of grasshoppers be fought against? And some of the big cats are getting desperate hungry gleams in their eyes.

Episode 9: The Flying Tiger

Kimba's kingdom is being terrorized by a tiger with enormous wings. Believe it or not it's true and everybody is well nigh scared to death. Kimba will have to use all his wits to fight against a winged opponent.

Will Kimba solve the mystery of the flying tiger?

Episode 10: Two Hearts And Two Minds

Kimba hears word that his dear friend Kitty is in danger. Humans are trying to catch her for some dreadfully cruel purpose. It's Kimba to the rescue accompanied by his friends Bucky and Pauley.

During the course of this adventure Kitty and Kimba both begin to realize how much they
deeply feel for each other. It's excitement and romance for the viewers.

Episode 11: Catch 'Em If You Can

Kimba battles against vicious hunters who have been invited to a hunting contest run by the Hunting Grounds Complex. Here animals are captured, starved and abused to make them savage for the sheer enjoyment of hunters who visit the complex.

Young Kimba wants to free all the animals. Can he prevail over all his enemies including the person who is in charge of the Hunting Grounds? A woman known as Captain Tonga.

Episode 12: The Hunting Ground

Captain Tonga is out to capture Kimba for revenge. She hatches a nefarious trap for the little white lion. Will she succeed?

Fortunately Kimba's friend Roger is aware of the situation and he tries to help Kimba. But Roger still deeply misses his sweetheart Mary and Tonga reminds him so much of her when he sees her that he thinks it really is Mary. What will happen if he should approach Tonga and her men so naively?

Episode 13: The Trappers

Evidently Viper Snakely and his colleague Tubby survived the shipwreck in which Kimba lost his mother because they've returned to Africa to trap more animals. Can Kimba and Roger stop them?

Incidentally there is another Astroboy cameo during this episode. It comes in this form. At one point Snakely and Tubby are watching television in their tent and there are scenes in black and white of Astro fighting a larger robot.
