Episodes 34 and 35: Jungle Fun/The Pretenders

These two episodes amount to a two-part story with a cliffhanger.

The gist is that Kimba is encouraging his friends to help him construct an amusement park for the jungle. Kitty receives an invitation to come and see it and Uncle Specklerex grants his consent. However Claw decides to use this as an opportunity to get rid of Kimba and he captures and traps many of the animals, including Kitty, inside the park grounds.

There's plenty of exciting suspense as Kimba tries to outwit Claw, Cassius, Tom and Tab and rescue his friends. There are also four other panthers, black like Cassius, assisting Claw. They are not given names but they are bad news. How does Kimba win over these strong cats?

Episode 36: The Monster Of Petrified Valley

There's a most unusual creature come to visit Kimba's kingdom. It's a giant bird named Colosso. He doesn't mean any harm and wants to make friends but what will all the animals make of him?

We've come a long way through Kimba now.

Episode 37: Legend Of Hippo Valley

A terrible drought threatens to wipe out the farm food supplies. Kimba comes up with a plan to divert the course of the river through Hippo Valley to water the crops.

However Hippo Valley is considered a sacred place to the hippos and they're not happy about what Kimba wants to do. Can Kimba convince them that the saving of the farm is more important than the personal significance they place upon their Hippo Valley?

Episode 38: Volcano Island

Watch how Kimba makes friends with lots of fish while he and Bucky take the schoolchildren on a camping holiday to Volcano Island. There are also a rhino couple who have come to await the birth of their very first baby. When the little rhino arrives he is so adorably cute.

Suddenly however the volcano begins to erupt. Will Kimba be able to get everybody off the island before it's too late?

Episode 39: Running Wild

Thousands of antelopes have suddenly gone wild and are racing around in a stampede. If they don't settle down very quickly they'll eventually all go charging into the river and be drowned. Kimba doesn't want this to happen but can even he manage to prevent such a tragedy?

Episode 40: The Troublemaker

Kimba meets a young ostrich named Benny. Benny wants to play and have fun but he happens to be a bit of a troublemaker. He stirs up problems for Kimba and his friends and what's worse Benny's grandfather Big Ben is very strong and very protective of him. Benny allows his grandpa to believe that Kimba has been picking on him and Big Ben gets mad.

Wait and see how Kimba smooths things out in this episode.

It's been awhile since I last did my reviews but I'm back again.

Episode 41: Destroyers From The Desert

Kimba's jungle kingdom has been invaded by a trio of dangerous wandering animals. An orangutan, a leopard and an enormous elephant beat Kimba in combat and bully everybody into giving them food.

Pauley is secretly training Kimba in new fighting techniques to vanquish the Destroyers. Will they work?

Each next episode will be more regular from now on.

Episode 42: The Balloon That Blows Up

Kimba and some of his young friends find a balloon in the jungle. While playing in the basket they accidentally set it adrift. Though alarmed at first, they come to look upon it as a wonderful adventure. But unbeknownst to them it's a guerilla warfare balloon with a bomb built inside it.

What sort of things will happen on this potentially dangerous balloon ride? You'll just have to watch and see for yourselves.

Episode 43: Monster Of The Mountain

A monster from way up in the mountains has been terrorizing a nearby peaceful village and killing their cattle. Kimba is going off on a quest to find the monster and deal with it.

But has he bitten off more than he can possibly chew this time?

Episode 44: A Friend In Deed

This time Kimba and some of his friends must undergo a special challenging task in order to save Roger from a dreadful fate. And as they go Kimba relates stories about how he first met Roger and his Uncle Pompous.
