Friends, it’s been 103 years since the Walt Disney Company got started, and also 3 years since OUaS was released.

In case anyone is wondering about the OUaS Theater at The Magic of Disney Animation, the viewing experience is, how you say, widened - there are four extra frames (two on each side), which come to life after Minnie’s “Yoo-hoo!”

The far left one has Captain Hook, the left one has young Simba and young Nala, the right one has Chip (later joined by Dale after Minnie’s said yoo-hoo), and the far right one has Eugene Fitzherbert.

That’s not all who appear in the frames, though…

LEFT FRAMES: Robin Williams as the Lost Boy from Back to Neverland flies by, which Hook shrugs off before he hears Peter Pan. The Skeleton Dance quartet side step across and hop to the beat. Benjamin Clawhauser rushes in and collapses on the ground in the Simba/Nala frame. Maleficent slowly walks by and passes him. The quartet of vultures from The Jungle Book fly down where Clawhauser collapsed to inspect him and Luisa shoos them away before picking up the chubby cheetah. Pocahontas steps in and starts to run. Right after Rafiki gives Goofy the camera on the main screen, the White Rabbit hurries across the frames.

RIGHT FRAMES: Eugene is chased back and forth across the right frames by the guards of Corona, with the Stabbington Brothers and the Snuggly Duckling patrons/thugs joining in. Basil (pronounced ‘Bazzle,’ BTW) and Dr. Dawson make their way across the right frames, the latter being extra cautious, much to the former’s impatience. Pedro flies in the background with his tail spinning for some reason. Hercules rides Pegasus in the background. Raya, Tuk Tuk, Boun, Noi, the three little monkeys, and Tong appear. Piglet peeks up, balances himself across the branch in the Chip & Dale frame, and is frightened by Chernabog’s jump scare on the main screen. Alice appears and catches him. Sir Hiss flies across the frames with his head in a balloon.

If you want a better viewing experience, you’d best sit in the rows in the back of the theater. When I sat towards the front, I had to move my head back and forth so I wouldn’t miss anything.
