Prawny!!! Sorry I couldn't come in and post a reply to Chapter 18 last night, and now I have Chapter 19 to go over as well.
As Kim said, the News Flash at the end was brrrrrrrilliant.
The best part of the previous chapter though, was the conversation where Death is mulling things over, and then Uncle D comes in for a bit of a mild laugh.

The chain gang flying backwards after Kermit and Gonzo have been rescued, funny.
Flanzgo and Gonzo shedding a few tears at saying goodbye to Onzgo was heart-wrenching.

Loved every bit of it, humor and action and all... And please post more soon!

The penguins! Oh the penguins!!!! I loved the penguins! But, the other stuff was really good too, it's very intense. I can't tell you how much I loved this line:

Eight Muppets and an alien princess were either dangling or precariously perched over the side of a bottomless chasm, pulling with all of their strength to save a frog and a whatever. Just another day in the life of the Muppets.

Isn't that just the truth? Great stuff Ryan, it was wonderful to get TWO chapters! Can't wait to see more.

"Not that he was qualified for either," Rowlf remarked.

Nice seeing Rowlf's sardonic side come out there. I've always loved his comedy.

"Did somebody say bombed?!" Crazy Harry jumped up from behind Scooter and pressed down on his dynamite plunger, exploding dynamite in the rafters above making them crash down into the seats.

<giggles> I love how random Harry is, and how you led that right up to this:

Scooter covered his eyes and shook his head. "No way we're gonna have a show ready when Kermit gets back..."

More laughter, and a general upwelling of affection for all the muppety chaos.

But then you go and do this:

Uncle Deadly had come to check up on the Muppets after the explosion. If Kermit gets back. He thought to himself.

Which instantly plunged me right into the danger again. <shivers> Artfully done, Prawnie.

Fozzie told the kung-fu fighting pig.

<sings> Miss Piggy was kung-fu fighting! Fun descriptive line there! You also managed to have me worried about my favorite butt-kicking diva fighting someone she couldn't see!

"Kermie?!" Piggy shouted. "HI-YA!" Piggy screamed, kicking the invisible Xaldin in the side, making him visible again and knocking him over. "Humph," she snorted. "That'll teach you to mess wtih the platinum princess!"

WHOOO!!! <is not a fangirl> Shame on me for my lack of faith!! I liked Piggy's hair flip too.

Piggy stared down the hole and inhaled deeply.

This line strikes me hard, and I'm not sure why... I think it's because she's taking the time to think here... it shows she's worried, in a subtle way... or maybe I'm just being obsessive.

"No Fozzie you help! NOW!"

"Oh oh, gotcha gotcha!" Fozzie ran over to grab Piggy by the ankles. "Okay, gonna lower you down, lower you down...Oh I can't look!" Fozzie let go of one of Piggy's feet to cover his eyes as Piggy was sent halfway over.

"Grab me grab me GRAB ME!!" Piggy screamed as Fozzie re-grabbed her ankle and lowered her down the rest of the way.

<giggles> Great Fozzie/Piggy interaction here. We don't get see a whole lot of it on camera, for obvious reasons, so it's really fun to see it in a fanfic. I can just hear how they said all that. I also found it absolutely hilarious how you slowly revealed that muppet chain getting longer and longer.

Onzgo controlled his breathign, he couldn't show signs of weakness. "I would sacrifice my entire being to destroy you."

<low whistle> Great line.

The psi-beam hit Xander directly, sending him flying back against a nearby wall. The loyal servant fell from the wall to the ground silently and stayed that way.

<gasp> Oh my!! <is shocked>

"I have done what was necessary to win," Exod stood up from the ground.
Onzgo shook his large head. "But winning...Is more important to you...Than your own brother?"

<heart breaks> Oh, wow, that's really very powerful. I didn't see it coming at all...

I really liked Death's rumination there, Death pondering life... interesting notion, and a little scary and sad. UD and Death's conversation was both funny and odd and scary, and I really enjoyed that blend of emotions. Fascinating.

ALL LIFE IS ALWAYS TEETERING ON THE BRINK OF LIVING AND DYING, SO WHEN DEATH DOES FINALLY COME, ALL LIFE FORMS ARE TRULY MY OLD FRIENDS WHO'VE JUST MET."

Oh, wow!!! So that's how the title comes in! What a very cool idea! Oh, and I got all smiley and happy at the next lines.

Uncle Deadly smiled and placed a clawed blue hand on the black cloak. "You know, they really do need a word for that."

Both friends laughed, Death's laugh was gentler and warmer than usual, perhaps because of the suddenly roaring fire at their feet.

The tender side of Death... it's weird but I suddenly got a lot more fond of him in those two lines. Well done, Prawnie.

And then you're back to the terror causing! I'm always on the edge of my seat reading your stories Prawnie! Very exciting!!

Waiting for Leyla's review of the next chapter to agree with her, mostly...
Sorry I have no review faculties of my own... There's just so much there to respond to, and a greatly detailed review often does the trick for the rest of us to remember all those great little bits embedded in the story's segments.

But like a certain Chicagoan girl might be saying about now...

I also liked this line, too. It was so witty, yet it also had truth in it.

And the part with the Muppet Newsman at the end of Chapter 19 was classic. And I love how you now got these former and current C.O.V.N.E.T. agents helping the Muppets out on their intergalactic journey. I figured that Butch and Clyde couldn't have been all that bad, and Bobo's just a big teddy bear (as we all have come to know since Muppets Tonight), and Ed...I mean, Zongo...he just needs to laugh at himself once in a while.

Keep it up, PC. You're doing marvelous!

I'm still mad at you for ending chapter nineteen like that. I mean, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CLIMAX!!!!!! OY Prawnie... Oy! That's just... Oy!!

But, since it would be SO out of character for me to not say anything, I HAVE to tell you... Everything that everyone has mentioned is fantasticabulous, of course I agree with that. But I don't think anyone's mentioned my favorite part yet.

Kermit and Gonzo lay on their stomachs, finally feeling land as oposed to suspension. "Kermit..." Gonzo said.

"Yeah...Gonzo?" Kermit asked.

"That...was too cool..."

I'm sorry, but I just can't get over the fact that Gonzo's Gonzo again!!!!! It makes me all squealy and squeey and my stomach does this really funky dance move!
