Hi guys... Talked it over with a couple of friends... Feeling a bit more comfortable/ease and I think I'm ready to post.
Not sure how long this'll end up being... Or where it'll lead, but I intend to use this as an ongoing source of fun and creativity for my various outlets.
If you notice a bit of characters out of place, don't worry... And forgive me if it seems a bit role-playish like Kingdom Hearts, the other main source of inspiration for this.

Well, get ready, the ride's about to start.

Journal Entry #0.

There was an eerie chill in the cool summer night's air... The sort of breeze that makes you wonder if it's about to pour, finally bringing a wave of relief to the wary traveler. The date, today's date 6/6/6, marked in our calendar as we had plans to attend a party in the master's honor. It was the sort of evening that... Ah, but forgive me my dear reader. My name is Mr. Edward Grimness Castle. For the last few months, I have been living with the distinguished Count von Count as his doomicile. Pardon the joke, we sometimes like to use that sort of speech.

The event in question was held outside on the castle's lawn, amidst the tombstones moved aside to accomodate the benches and tables for our guests. Friends held near and dear to us were gathered there for the banquet, a good thing we ordered out instead of allowing the Swedish Chef to prepare the food. After a rousing round of song and dance as Muppets are wont to do, we all retired for the night in pre-arranged lodgings. The Count was happy to house his Muppet bretherend, counting all present making sure noone was missing a place to hang their weary heads. When all was secure, we both retired to our rooms, located in the master bedroom on the second floor. The Count was happy, though a slight worry was present in his underlying features. Unnoticeable as it was, we merely exchanged pleasantries and proceeded to nod off. Little did we know that our sleep would give rise to a chain of events which would surpass our wildest imaginations.

Hmmm, intreaging! Will any other muppets be making an appearance in this one? It's OK if not; just wondering.

And I like your new sig Beth...

I. Rest In Peaces.

Journal Entry 1.1.

Sometime in the lapping shores of the night, you can almost hear voices or whispers, I heard them calling my name. Though the Count urged me to wake up and follow him, I couldn't help but think if this was some fanciful illusion. Here I was, normally partially blind as a bat, with my dark glasses on and yet still had perfect vision of everything before me. My suspicions were slightly aroused, since I only have such perfect vision when in my private dream world. But was this a dream? The Count was leading me down the hallways of the castle, so I wasn't hexactly sure.

The whispers led us down to the private office we reserved for special appointments... And this was no exception. The man awaiting us there had a fatherly expression on his face, along with softened brown eyes and a rustic mustache and beard. He didn't seem angry, it was more of a saddened look he wore. The Count recognized our visitor straight away and beckoned for him to speak. The fatherly man began his narrative...
"You come to me and here my call.
Traveled through corridor and hall.
And yet you sense not the doom.
Trapped here inside your home.
This night starts your test.
Prepare you both for the quest.
To prove you are the best.
And earn yourselves a peaceful rest.
The train will not go to Morrow.
For it has filled with sorrow.
Your friends have fallen prey.
To the one who seeks to end our day.
Hear them now, and tell me if you shall take the vow."

"Like help!"
"Get off of me you weirdo."
"Meep!"
"Elp me, hokay?"
"Where me cookies?"
"Kermie!"
"Uncle Kermit!"
"Hey Bert!"
Each voice pierced our hearts... They all seemed to eminate from the same point of origin, though we knew they were held in a different space contained within the nothingness of the eternal night.

Our speaker continued...
"Your friends you must seek.
O'er stone and crypt, through attic and creak.
Many foes you must fight.
And defeat this horrible night.
Trust your hearts and make amends.
Resolve to encounter all the fiends.
When you've collected them all.
Then shall you return to the grand hall.
But one last thing I must tell.
The midnight will ring its bells.
And once it's started you must not fail.
Your true enemy you must unveil.
In the end it will reveal.
One last battle to prove your steel."
With that, the plaintive bells of the clock struck midnight and our visitor vanished back into the etherial haze of our long-ago memories.
