And since there is a vorpal blade, does that mean that there's going to be a Jabberwock before long? ("I'm telling you, this is the weirdest sketch we've ever done.")

And that's a nice drawing you did of Nora! I've always pictured her as kind of resembling a Fraggle (minus the tail, bien sur) myself, but that's just my point of view. Keep up the good work!

x) Yes, there will be a Jabberwock.
I'll make sure to redraw Nora.
Don't want to change what you had in mind of her too much
as she belongs soley to you.

:3 Actually, she had the Vorpal blade in the start of the game...already equipped with it when she was in the asylum.

It did not make sense at all that a girl should have already possesed a weapon when there were gaurds on and about....

So I made it just a little more realistic.

Thank you Porkums, Erin, Eddie, and Alex for keeping an eye on this fic.

I really like how this spooky thing is turning out. It's interesting to think of Scooter being the skeletal cheshire cat (or is it now muppet?) in this dark, mysterious tale. I can't wait to read more of it, Squeakers.

Questions, and more questions!

{Now you see him, now you don’t}

They crossed the bridge to where they met an irritable citizen. Nora was tempted to ask the man another one of her curious questions. She took in a breath, and approached him with a small curtsy. “Everyone seems dejected; are things really as bad as all that?" She asked.

He opened a little eye, appearing much like a little Popeye. It looked as if this one did not lose his wit as of yet. A little smile tugged at his pale green lips, “The truth would reduce yah to a blubberin’ baby. Are you the champion Rabbit has been blabberin’ about all this time?" He inquired, blowing some smoke into her face.

“Please put that pipe away.” Cheshire said. “The smell is nauseating.”

Nora was too busy comprehending the little man’s words. Her ponderous expression shifted to confusion. What a perplexing statement, she thought. "I shouldn't think so...I'm just a person." She answered modestly. "Did you see Rabbit run by?"

The apathetic creature pointed out a shadow nearby. "Yep, he’s right there.” He said

Follow, follow, and you’ll see,
What you search is what you need!

Follow, follow, and perceive,
What you lack is that for speed!

Rabbit was reduced to the size of an ant. With that advantage, he escaped through a tiny hole.

Nora knew better than to get angry. He was like that, and that would never change. Two steps ahead of her as usual. “Just now I wish to be this small.” She requested, showing the exact size needed.

The unnamed creature nodded. “Well, talk to the guy over there…he could help yeh.” He said.

“You heard him.” She said.

Her companion nodded "Oh well." He said.

Yaey! And into the garden we go. Just look out for rock-rolling beetles. No, not the musical kind. *Snacks on a bread-and-butterfly with jam.
