I expect we'll see a teaser poster next month. And I can totally see them having a teaser trailer ready for Monsters University or the Lone Ranger. We'll see more from there on.

I honestly don't think we'll be seeing any trailers right away. A ton of post-production, editing, etc. still needs to be done before any promotion can happen.

Still, they can have a teaser with footage that's not even featured in the movie! (That's what Pixar does every year.)
I can't see them passing up the opportunity to let the word out in the blockbuster summer movies.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, something filmed solely to promote the sequel and ignite the hype. I'd imagine we'll see a full trailer early fall??

I wonder if they really are. Remember, last film, they had to do reshoots of certain scenes pretty close to the release date. At least, months after they initially finished shooting. But it was just interiors and one other sequence that needed to be reshot at a couple angles.
