New movies coming out...

I've been meaning to take Pleasantville out of the library. I'm not willing to give up on a particular actor or actress just because I didn't like ONE movie they were in. Just what I've seen her in SO FAR I didn't like.

I'd really recommend Pleasantville if you want a good Reese movie. It's very enjoyable. Of course, she isn't really the main focus in this one so its not really as I described it a "Reese movie"...but that doesn't matter And I can see how you wouldn't like Sweet Home Alabama, that was not good at all!

SO has anyone heard anything more about Idependance Day 2 yet?

I just heard a review of the Hulk from Ebert and Roper. I take everything they say with a grain of salt, but they gave the film (opening this week) two thumbs up. One of the surprising statements they made about the CG is that the Hulk looks spectacular in the close-ups and medium shots, but can often look phony in wide shots. You'd think it would be the other way around, but that seems consistent with the ads I've seen. Nonetheless it's good to see the film get some good reviews. Makes me excited like I was before seeing the initial trailers.

Hmmm...now my interest is perking up again for it. I was going this next saturday to see Hulk with some friends, albeit very grudgingly! Now, maybe it won't be so bad.

Has anyone noticed in the new Justin/Kelly movie, that they are basically only showing one scene?!?! I can't imagine how bad this movie will be. I know that it was scheduled to appear on DVD/Video in August, so that's not a good sign at all. Plus every clip, the commercial I've seen, and the majority of stills released from the movie are all from the opening beach scene.

It boggles my mind when I think of how much money was sunk into this.

It boggles the mind that anyone thought they could sell this to the American public. Simon should just stick to producing music - not movie deals.

I really don't think there is even much of a story line. I think they just put semi attractive people on a beach and had them dance for an hour. I would rather eat rancid dog food then sit thru that movie.

Not to mention how conceided they are now. Saw them on Leno the other night and they were little snots.

The concert is due to come to the Memphis Pyramid sometime soon!

That is different. Those are the contests, in a concert, not a movie.

And I will most likely be there as well. I just want to know if Clay will be there. If he is, I'm sooooo there. And I will make sure he is interviewed in the studio and I get pictures!!!
