Wwell, I don't think that the cinimas will be filled with only kisd anyway. (to start with they will probably have parents so you could mingle in the crowd with them and know one would know you had come on your own...) I just wish I had a little spare cash at the moment to go and see it in the cinema.

Estimates put Nemo at 70 M for this weekend. That's a bit more than Monsters Inc, but 20 short of the Matrix sequel. However, Matrix has been losing record steam. It appears that the general public isn't seeing multiple viewings as expected. It will likely under perform at 275 M total. It's funny that's considered an under performance, but it was expected to easily pass the 300M mark. I hope Revolution is a better film.

Yay, Nemo. A film like this could have serious staying power and could ultimately pass Matrix. Probably not, but time will tell. Monsters Inc made 255 M and if Nemo is performing better, it just might top the Matrix and be the number one summer movie. That would make a very happy frogboy indeed!

Here's the movies on that list that I WILL see (most likely in the theater):
Indiana Jones 4 (2005)

The list of movies I MIGHT see, have to wait for the previews:
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Elektra (2005)
King Kong (2005)
Rush Hour 3 (2005)
Superman (2005)
Alexander the Great (2005)

The movies I WON'T see:
Bob Dylan Anthology Project (2005) (TV)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
Lecter Variation: The Story of Young Hannibal Lecter, The (2005)
XXX2 (2005)

The movies I have no idea what the heck they are:
Air Battle Force (2005)
Cars (2005) (though just the name will make my mom want to see it)
Escobar (2005)
Good Cook, Likes Music (2005)
Hands of Shang-Chi, The (2005)

All-in-all, do you think 2005 will be as good a year for movies as this year? I'm not sure yet...

I don't know about some of these yet, but we will probably have a lot more on the list by the time we get there.

That is one of Pixar's upcoming movies.

As for the IMDB listing, I wouldn't hold my breath on many of those films. I spot at least 3 on there that I don't think will happen til later then 2005, if at all.

Oh, Pixar. Yeah, I'd deffenitely like to see that then.

What about League of Extraordinary Gentlemen? That looked like it could be neat. Do we have a rating on that yet?

I want to see that too, I think it the premise is very interesting.

I just saw on the news that Nemo got $70.6 million for its opening weekend. What did the Matrix get?

Matrix dropped to 4 in it's third weekend making 15M $232M total to date. It made 91,774,413 in it's opening weekend, so much more than Nemo, but it dropped to the number three spot in its second weekend. Reloaded doesn't seem to have staying power, but Nemo will probably get many more repeat viewers. It could even out. It sounds like Neo VS Nemo!

Yeah, Matrix Reloaded seems to be one of those movies everyone sees, but only sees once. Something that you wait to see on video or DVD again. It's just a very serious avtion film, and, I personally don't enjoy that over and over and over again. I don't know how others feel about that...

Finding Nemo seems like the type of movie you can actually enjoy yourself at. I like those types of movies where you can just enjoy yourself. Laugh, cry, whatever. It seems, the same as Monsters Inc., like a very sweet, happy movie.

Everything Matrix is not. Although I'm sure The Matrix Reloaded is a great movie.
