Oh, Sarah, send me some of the tickets. (Only kidding.)

So no one else is excited about a sepuel to The Mask Of Zorro? It is one of my favorite films. Oh well.

I kind of enjoyed the first one, Beau, but, unlike most people, I'm not that big of a fan of Action movies. Certain action films I absolutely love, but, then there's those that I just don't like. I like the Action movies with really good story lines, and I mean really good! That is why I didn't like Fast and the Furious, and that is why I never ever saw, or will see, XXX. I love Star Wars, though. Those are action movies with story. I like the Star Trek movies, some of those have quite a bit of action in them. Mask of Zorro? I suppose it was pretty good. Not among my favorites, but, I enjoyed it for the most part.

Give me a comedy any ol' day of the week! :embarrassed:

I can't wait to see Nemo, but I have free tickets to the 'cheap seats' in town, but they get the movies about a month later....but I'd rather get in free than pay 8 (and that's just for the ticket!) so I'll be waiting to see this movie...and I actually have about 6 tickets, so I will probably see this movie twice at the cheap seats (tickets there are only $3 anyway)
So, you're having me down that weekend, right?

That's an interesting thing to say on a Muppet forum. Clears throat - animation is not just for children, but I'll let others explain. :big_grin:I guess it's a college student sort of thing to think that certain things aren't age appropriate. I hope it passes - or was that whole thing a joke?

Anyway, Finding Nemo looks like it'll be pretty good. I also hope it blows away Matrix Reloaded at the box office. That movie's just too dang popular, it gets annoying. Of course, it's gonna be pretty tough to beat out that first weekend...

I'm a college student and I'll be seeing Nemo as soon as I can. So no, it's not a college student thing. :stick_out_tongue:

They didn't have Thing 1 and 2 in the preview I saw but they did have the fish. He's computer animated and looked pretty good I guess. They didn't show him much though.

Finding Nemo looks awesome; I can't wait to see it! The animation looks stunning, and the film has gotten great reviews.

Two movies that I'm looking forward to with much anticipation are actually not coming out for a while: the Bridget Jones sequel (Renee Zelweeger is gonna spend the summer packing on twenty pounds in order to begin shooting late this year) and the Spongebob Squarepants flick.

BTW, Yahoo Movies already has a page up for it, and this:
Premise Notes: (12/6/02) Earlier this week, a report was sent to Dark Horizons that claims the story follows a Finding Nemo-ish plot in which Patrick the Starfish is caught by a fisherman and taken to a Florida aquarium, so that SpongeBob and friends have to travel there to rescue him. Time should prove whether or not this story is legitimate or just a fan-concocted rumor.

It also says the film will be traditionally animated, which is a relief. The style used in Hey Arnold & the first two rugrats movies is some of the worst computer animation I've seen, and hopefully Nickelodeon has abandoned that.

well i'm on here at muppet central without anybody else my age or older looking at me!so i don't have to worry about that. there's nothing wrong for people to see animation films when you're older, i just feel a little odd sitting in a theater with a lot of kids that are half my age and younger. but i will rent finding nemo when it comes out on dvd.....and yes, i hope it kicks the matrix's butt at the box office this weekend by either coming in at #1 or #2.

I'm just trying to understand why that would matter. Do you skip seeing Muppet films in the theater for this reason? It's a peculiar statement to make on a Muppet forum where we have people of all ages. Animation and Muppets are both a very big part of my life so maybe I just don't get it. Of course, I don't have to.

Personally, I try to dodge the kid crowd by either going to an early weekday matinee when the little ones are off at school or to the late showing on a school night. It's not like I'll be talking to anyone in the theater anyway. I'm a freaky sort of guy who doesn’t much care what others think. Plus, tickets are easy for me to get because the AMC is right across the street.

All I know is that such spectacular animation is meant to be seen on the big screen and it's a shame that anyone would wait for video, but that's just the animation buff talking. Just think of the detail and wide expanse of the ocean with the effect of it being 50 feet high. :concern:
