Gobo had never been inside Docs place before he felt like he had just stepped into another world altogether. Everything was totally different. Doc walked down the hallway and into his room where he gently plopped Gobo down on the duvet which felt like a big fluffy pillow. He stood about knee deep in the down feathers which was encased in a silk casing. Gobo nodded off for a second, he hadn’t had any sleep for the past couple of days, and it was starting to his him like a ton of bricks.

“ I’m going to have to take a little snooze. I Don’t think I can go any further. “ Gobo said trying desperately to fight it off.


“ Go head and sleep Gobo. Nothing more you can do right now. I’m just going to pack a few thing and see Ned Sprocket will stay here in case you need anything, wont you Sprockie? “ “ Sprocket happily barked. No one had to tell him twice. He was asleep before his head hit the pillow. Sprocket decided to jumped up on the bed curling up right next to Gobo.

Doc thought that was so sweet and he took a picture of the both of them sleeping together with his Polaroid camera. Doc started to pake a few things. He sat down in the chair to think about his next plan of action when he dosed off to sleep himself.

Meanwhile back at the rock…
Red, J.R. Rebecca, Mokey, Wembley, and Boober were heading back to Gobo and Red’s cave.

“ Gobo are you back yet? “ Red said expecting him to be home. “ Gobo? “ She called again.

“ Gobo? “ Wembley called looking al around but there was no one around.

“ You don’ think he actually left for outer spade do you? “ Mokey said very worried.

“ Nah he probably just… hold on what this? “ Red said as she picked up the note from their bedside and read it out loud to everyone. “ He really did it! “ Red said about to panic but was trying to stay clam. “ I have to go find him. “

“ Wait! “ Boober said holding onto her. “ You can’t go out there what if you get eaten by the monster? “

“ He told us he was going to go Red. “ Wembley said. “ He didn’t say he was really going Wembley. He just said his Uncle needed help. “

JR Suddenly ran out of the room.

“ JR come back! “ Red yelled as she chased after him followed by everyone else.

He barley got into the tunnel that lead to the enerence to outer space when Red grabbed him.

“ Let go of me! “ He yelled.

“ You can’t just go out there. “ Red said.

“ I did it before. “ He sulked.

“ I don’t want you to go. You could get hurt out there. “ She said still holding onto his arm.

” We don’t need both of you getting lost out there. “ Boober said.

“ I won’t get lost. If my dad’s absent minded Uncle can go into outer space and return to the rock in one piece then I can do it too. “

“ Don’t be mean. “ Red Said. “ You used to call him that all the time. “ JR snarked.

“ Well that’s when I was younger and didn’t realise how smart he really is. I just saw he was a klutz, but there’s a big differences in being clumsy and being dumb. “

JR reluctantly agreed because he knew he was fighting a losing battle.

Later that afternoon J.R. was sitting on his bed just starring at the ceiling refusing to do anything.

“ Come on stop mopeing. “ Rebecca said.

“ I’m really worried. “ JR said.

“ We all are. “ She said. “ But thinking about it is only going to make you worry more. Come on lets go for a walk, anything but sit there worrying yourself out of your mind. “

JR thinking that might be a good idea jumped down from his bed when suddenly he felt a really sharp pinging feeing in his head.

“ Oh not again. “ He said to himself trying not to make a big deal out of it.

“ Oh JR what’s the matter? “ Rebecca asked very worried.

“ It’s nothing. “ He said as the pain let up. “ See it’s gone. “

“ Maybe I should tell mum. “ She said.

“ NO! “ He insisted. “ I’m ok really. It’s probably from too much worry. “

“ All right. “ She said not convinced but there was no point in arguing with him, he wasn’t going to listen.

“ Tell no one. “ He snapped.

“ Ok don’t yell at me. “ She said feeling hurt.

“ Sorry. “ he said.

“ Those head aches worry me. You really should tell someone. Every time you have one you act really weird. “

“ More weird than normal? “ He laughed.

“ I mean weird as in you get really nasty with everyone. “ Rebecca said.

“ It’s nothing forget about it. “ He said not wanting to talk anymore about it.

Rebecca just sighed as they both walked down the tunnel towards the great hall.

They saw Boober carrying a basket of clothes. When he saw JR he said. “ Oh no you don’t. You’re not going to make me drop this.”

“ I have no intention on it. “ he said.
“ You always get a kick out of making more work for me. “ Boober sulked.

“ Oh come on you enjoy it and you know it, gives you something else to complain about. “ He said in a real spiteful manner.

“ Stop it. “ Rebecca said getting upset at his sarcasum.

“ What’s wrong with you anyway? “ Boober said noticing he was acting really out of character.

“ Do you really think my dad’s going to be ok out there? “ He asked Boober dodging the question, and not thinking about who he was asking.

“ I could think of a million things that could go wrong. He could fall into a pit full of germs, and develop rock fever. He could be eaten by one of those silly creatures or be kidnapped by a Harpy. “

“ I’m sure nothing like that is going to happen. “ Rebecca said pulling JR away before Boober gave him anymore ideas.

“ He doesn’t bother me. “ J.R. laughed going along with her. “ He worries to much about everything. I like to ruffle his fur a bit.“
He suddenly dropped to his knees and sobbed uncontrollably. “ I miss him already. “ He said as tears began to stream down his cheeks.

Everyone started to gather Red pushed her way through the crowd. “ What’s going on. “ She said, “ JR are you all right? Oh get out the way everyone make room. “ She knelt down. “ Look at me for a second. “ He slowly raised his head a little, his face had lost most of it’s colour. “ Gobo is going to be fine. “ Red said trying to make him not worry so much. “ Doc is with him, and I know he will be ok. “

“ Doc is a silly Creature though. “ He said in-between sobs.

“ You didn’t really believe me when I said that? “ Boober said feeling bad that he might have over reacted and put a lot of nonsense into his head that maybe wasn’t true. He may annoy him most of the time but he still cares. Boober doesn’t lie he just over reacts. “ He didn’t realise how sensitive he was. “

“ You’re going to see the Storyteller. “ Red said. “ I don’t like this. “

“ I don’t want to go to see the storyteller. “ JR said.

“ I think you should. You look ill. “ Red said.

“ Ok then if you think it’s that bad, but I think you’re making a big deal out of nothing. “ JR said.

They all went to the Storyteller’s cave Red rang the door bell. There was a short pause, she was about to ring it again when the door slowly opened followed by a whole bunch of papers.

“ Good evening my fragglets. “ She said in a gothic kind of fashion but she was only kidding of course. “ What brings you here? “ She asked in her normal cheerful manner.

“ It’s JR he’s ill, and… well you explain what’s going on. “ Red said not really knowing herself she only knew what she saw.

“ I don’t know what happened really, I felt like I was going to faint, then I suddenly got overwhelmed. I think it’s just from all that’s happened lately probably too much for me to deal with. “

The Storyteller could tell right away something was very wrong just be looking at him. Come inside. “ She said looking serious.

Her place was unlike most Fraggles has seen before. There was several shelves that went all around the cave filled with books and papers all in alphabetical order. On other shelves were bottles and tubes filled with different liquids and things. On a table there was a crystal ball and a assortment of crystals and metals. The whole room was dimly lit by small lanterns and the smell incents filled the air.

She lifted him onto a table so she could have a better look at him. JR was really small only half the height he should be, slightly overweight. His colouring was unique as well. His tail was a lighter orange then the rest of him no Fraggle has that. He has longish shoulder length with red/purple/orange hair with white streaks in it. His skin is a light yellow with a hint or orange in it.
The first thing she noticed was the colour of his eyes they were a really strange light blue. ( I know Fraggles don’t eye colour, but it helps makes things more interesting. )

“ You said you almost fainted am I right? “ She said getting very big book down from the shelf.

“ Yeah. “ He answered really short and to the point.

“ Has this ever happened before? “ She asked as she was flipping through pages.

“ A few times but they don’t happen very often but this one was a real doozie. “ He said not really wanting to answer that question.

“ Why didn’t you tell someone? “ Red asked kind of upset at him for not telling anyone.

“ I did tell someone Rebecca knows but don’t be mad at her I made her promise not to tell. I just didn’t want to worry anyone that’s the only reason why. “ He said

“ Things like that you need to tell someone. Next time tell me or someone. “ Red said.

JR just nodded sort of ignoring what she said.

The Storyteller looked up from her book and adjusting her glasses and as
“ Yes I do. “

“ And do you get visions when with theses head aches? “

“ Visions? “ JR Asked really confused.

“ I mean do you see pictures in your head? “

“ Well sometimes I see things if that’s what you’re talking about. “

“ What sort of things? “

“I don’t know. Um… most of it doesn’t make any sense. “

“ Did you even see something and have it happen? “

“ I once had a dream about something and it happened the next day, but that only
ked. “ Do you get head aches as well? “ happened once. “

“ Oh dear. “ She said.

“ What what’s going on? “ Red asked very worried.

“ No thing too serious if he learns how to use it. “

“ Translation? “ Red said.

“ If I’m not mistaken, I think he could be one of the Children of Indigo. “

“ Do what? “ Jr asked. “

Turning to him she said. “ You have a gift, you just have to learn how to use it. “

“ Gift? Seems like a curse to me “ He said.

“ It only seem that way right now because you don’t know how to use it, but once you know what going to happen you can better cope with it.

“ Indio Children usually are born ones every 2 or three generations. Somewhere in the generic line 2 Indigo genes met making one pure blood. Red and Gobo had a Indio somewhere in their family. “ She explained to everyone. “ There is the very rare occasion where a Indio will have a pure blood, but that hasn’t happened in more than 500 years. They usually start out having a lot of sickness which can be with them into adulthood. Your unexplained head aches for example.”

“ I can’t believe you kept a secret all this time you must be braver than I thoJr laughed not really sure of himself. “ Ok if I am one of those children whatever they are. There must be a reason for it. “

“ You’ll find you’re reason one day. Being able to see into the future is a very useful tool. Only warning is never use it for the wrong reasons. If you use it for a evil purpose not only will you hurt others but you’ll be hurting yourself as well. “

“ I have heard of Indigos Mokey said but I thought they were only in fairy stories. “ Very mysterious Fraggles seem to long suffering. “

“ I have something that might help. “ The story teller said as she went to her table she got a handful of shards putting them into JR’s hands. One of them glowed with a brilliant glow then went dim only glowing faintly. Everyone stood there absolutely astonished. You’re not yet strong enough to cope the power. This will help filter some of the energy you receive so you don’t black out. “ She tied the shard onto a piece of twine and put it around his neck.

. They said their good byes and headed back to the great hall. “ I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. “ Red said totally confused. “ I already had enough to worry about now this on top of it. “

“ I’m not worried. “ JR said. “ I’m relieved I thought something was really wrong with me that I could die from. “

“ You still could. “ Boober said. “

Rebecca elbowed him really hard, and whispered. “ You’re not helping. “

“ Ok ok. “ He said rubbing his side.

“ Where’s Wembley? “ Mokey said looking for him. “ Wembley! “ She called.

“ Coming. “ Came a voice from way down the tunnel.
