I think there are alot of great ideas being tossed around. I am just happy that we will be able to identify ourselves.

What's annoying is that people hear I read Star Trek books, and think, "Ahha, a Trekkie" even though I am Nooooooot a Trekkie. Then, on the other hand, they know that I adore the Muppet more and they think, "You're a Muppet fan. I am too. I like Cookie Monster, and how he used to play the drumbs."

THAT'S ANIMAL YOU MORONSSS!

But, they don't just think, "Ahha, he's a ______. I'm not one of those."

very annoying.

Magpie's Angle Dithrers society, where the Magpies Dither over the correct angles.

And, Mummy's Angel Dinners, where she dines on Angel-Whip stew. (Not real angels, just cream)

Oh Beau, you crack me up.

I'm not even going to get into suggesting a name because I belong to toooo many groups as it is. Last time I checked I belong to these groups:

Trekkie (I like Star Trek in General)
Leaper ( Quantum Leap)
KRfan (Knight Rider)
Hazzard Junkie (Dukes of Hazzard)
GAH Nut (Greatest American Hero)
Jedi (Star Wars fan)

I won't even go into how many 'shipper' sites I belong to. For those that don't know a 'shipper' is someone who worships a star.

But if I reallllly had to pick a name for my Muppet obsession, I'd tell them I'm a Muppeteer (sorta like a Mouseketeer as in the Mickey Mouseketeers from the 50's) fan. I like all the Muppets and the people who perform them.

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

M-U-P-P-E-T Kermit is for me!

The Muppeteers are the actuallal Puppeteers of the Muppets though. So, what Muketeers? All for One, One for all. Problem is, there can only be three of us.

"Muppies" has a nice ring to it IMO, but it sounds a bit too childish. "Muppites" seems to have a bit too much attitude to the sound.

How about: Muppafiliates? Or, Muppoulegues? Mupalists? Or Mupp'O'nansers?

I still like "Kermites." Kurm-ites. It's short and to the point, and you obviously know what it is.

Although, it may give someone the identity of only worshipping Kermit. Hmm...

Muppites? Mup-ites? Like the Hitites? Except we love Muppets more than we love Hits??
