Everyone is being so sweet but keep in mind, she doesn't need advice, just love and kindness from her friends. Sorry. Its just that people seem to think they have to give "advice" Its just funny.

I'm sorry that it bothered you,but it's hard choosing the right words in this situation because you don't want to hurt the person more by saying something that take out of context. Just trying to help, by being supportive and offering a small bit of advice about what I know about losing someone in your life.

No Bear...it's OK. The advice helps a bit.
Vibs...what you said sounds a lot like me regarding saying "I love you" over & over again.Every time before I left the hospital, I'd say "Goodbye Daddy....I love you." (yerah I know it's a bit silly for a 36 year old woman to still be calling her father "Daddy",but I still did.)
You all are helping a lot. So I'm going to go out on a limb here. IF you want to send Email flowers or a card,my Email address is Kcat291@aol.com

Okay, good. Just protecting you a bit i guess. I think it is because some folks in the situation find it annoying and overbearing. But as long as you are fine with it and it helps then good.

No, you are right. It wasn't in any way a personal attack on anyone. Just a thought. I don't even know what exactly made me say it.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up for me. It's just hard for people to know what to say when something like this happens...

I know how you feel. There really isn't much anyone can do in these situations except just be there to listen and nurture and have good thoughts. And we are always here for her if she needs us.

I just read the news...I am so very sorry to hear of this. My thoughts are with you and your family. You've been keeping us updated on your dad's condition for some time and I know all of us were really pulling for him.

Wow, what sad news. I hope you and your family are doing alright. **hugs** You're allowed to be sad of course, but be thankful too that he won't have to suffer anymore. Have some more hugs. **huggles**
