Hi everyone,
On July 28 at 4:45PM EST,my dad passed away.  He suffered complications from after surgery to remove a blood clot in his stomach.
He was unconscious but could still hear my family & I talking to him.I let him know that I loved him. I always have & I always will.
My 2 brothers & sister in law came down earlier this week. So it was nice for the whole family to be together. And I'm sure my dad was grateful.
Needless to say I've been crying a lot this week, despite trying to stay strong for my family. It hasn't been easy. In fact, I was in hysterical tears a few times.
*sigh* These next few weeks won't be easy.
I want to thank you all for keeping us in your thoughts & prayers.
Kathy

I am very very sorry for your loss, I know that those words cannot heal the pain that you are feeling, but please know that people care. It's always difficult losing one that you love, and I have a lot of personal experience with this. Just remember to stay strong, and stand by your family and if you comfort and support each other then things will be alright..I send my condolences to you and your family, and if you ever need anybody to talk to I am right here. The only thing that I can say is that you should rest, and try to stay calm over the next few days..

I am very sorry.

Drake.

I know this may not be appropriate to say, but I find that if you think of a Muppet Penguin, it usually brings a tiny smile or giggle.

Seriously though, my sincere love and best regards to you and your (other) family. *Big, but gentle BEAR hugs!*

I sit here, and I'm not sure what to say. Anything I think to say just seems insignificant. I can't feel what you are going through, or perhaps even imagine it. It just seems unreal, just two days ago we were talking about him, and I was saying that he would be alright. I guess, there is nothin gI can say, except my prayers are with you and your family, and I know you will be strong, and you will get through this.

If it helps, I offer hugs. (hug).

Beau...

My thoughts are with you and your family. Your Dad was lucky to be surrounded by such a wealth of love, I am sure he is looking down on you from somewhere and swelling with pride.

So very sorry to hear this. Losing a family member is so very hard, but I have never experienced the passing of one of my parents so I can't imagine how hard that is. At least you and your family were with him and could be there for him and each other this difficult time. Lean on God, who is grieving deeply with you, and also has a much better place prepared for your dad. And I will continue to pray to Him for your and your hurting family.
