Rowlf: Hmm, cast a t.v. show huh? Maybe Little Brother will give an example cause I'm not even sure where to begin!

This is Little Brother.

An example of an answer to the "Muppet Spin-Off Show” might be the existing Muppets sketch "Pigs in Space."

The show stars Link Hogthrob as Captain Link Hogthrob - an unintelligent pig who has somehow been elevated to the rank of Captain while his only noted quality is his pomposity; Miss Piggy as First Mate Piggy – a fairly stylish pig with attitude and while by no means perfect she is rather unfairly stuck with a less than gifted crew; and Julius Strangepork as Doctor Julius T Strangepork - the ship's science officer who is renowned for his various inventions none of which actually seem to perform a useful purpose.

The premise of the show is that the three crew members command the star ship "Swine Trek" in space.

A synopsis of one episode is that the crew have a chance to discover 'the meaning and purpose of life' only to be faced with the dilemma of missing the secret - which is much coveted - or missing dinner - which is swill stroganoff.

The show may be entirely original or may be based on an existing TV show.

Well...I know some of us still end up in flight of fanitisy about space, so I figured, et'stake a peek at the old Star Trek. And, besides finding all kinds of ludicrious plot holes, I find that if I just take...

*mumbles*

A new TV spin-off show, staring the Muppets as charcters from an original/spin-off-of-the-original-series of star trek, "Crying Worf"

Staring, Sam the Eagle as Worf, a Klingon who must fight for tradition. Fozzie as Alexander, Worf's son who must fight for a position in the family, while crying wolf to Worf. And Annie Sue, as Deanna Troi, the woman who is desperatly in love with Worf, and visa-versa, and who keeps in control the boy who calls wolf to Worf.

A typical episode coudl involve: Worf waking, and going to cook brakfast, then realiseing tha today is a traditional Kilingon Scrambled-Eggs day. He would then discover the eggs were missing, and would hunt for them, while beign sent on a wild goose chanse by his son Alex. Alex would have hidden the eggs to see if his father would still love him regardless, and then would cry wolf as to where he had hidden them. Finally, Deanna would turn up with (miracioulsy) eggs. And happiness would ensue...

*deep breath*

Rowlf: Wow, that was great Mrs. Bear! All right, here's the best I could come up with. A spin-off of American Idol. Muppet Hero. Instead of competing for who is the best singer, each Muppet competes to be the best hero in America. Judges would be famous superheros like Batman and Superman or sports figures or other famous people that others look up to like heroes. Each Muppet would have to compete in different types of heroic activities to be the best hero. All right, that's the best I can do. I write music, not t.v. shows!

Hmm, I don't know. Sometimes cinnamon or honey. I think I'll just take some sugar though, although I think I'm pretty sweet the way I am!
