"And Where To Find The Words To Sing Its Worth..."

(So apparently, I've been getting some interesting inspiration by just simply studying the lyrics of some Muppet songs. Of course, the title of this poem is an excerpt from Miss Piggy's: Never Before, Never Again love ballad. I didn't necessarily want to speak as her, because I sort of wanted this to be one of those "everyone" poems. coming from the heart as always, hope you enjoy it ;D)

"And where to find the words to sing it's worth..."
There will never be a satisfying word to describe my deep feelings for you.
This is because our love is so different; so unique, that it cannot be compared.
However, if I could create a new emotion or word to add to our dictionary,
The definition would be close to, sweeter than sugar but soothing like rain...

More than way too many people in society define love as needing a person in your life.
If this was so, then why was I doing wonderful before you had walked into mines?
Do not take it offensive sweetheart, I am only speaking my soul
The definition in my heart, is a destiny sent into your realm which will change you for the better...

My mother has helped to grow me into a compassionate, young lady
Yes, we have had our differences, but somehow they brought us even closer...
If I had the opportunity to create a word to define our bond,
It would mean- warm as fire yet opposing as unattractive magnets...

The connection between two perfect friends is that of a tree.
The last leaf still holding on to your branch is surely to last a lifetime
I'd label it with a shorter word; one that represents love forever.
Because when love can last forever; your spirit can last forever...

Isn't it ironic how love can be shared and applied in so many different ways?
It is one of the most powerful forces of nature, because it has the ability to make any situation glow.
Untill I can find the right words to use in order to describe our relationship, my dear,
Just remember that if nothing else, love will always be sitting there for us.

"I Will Follow You" ​

(a freeverse poem about my second favorite Fraggle! That's right, I don't always like to rhyme, haha! In all honesty, you can speak better from your heart when you don't try to keep a pattern. But anyways, I really felt this one when I wrote it, and I hope you guys enjoy it!)

Leadership: the ability to touch others in a way that they will follow you to the ends of the Earth...

Maps. Maps are definitely useful when searching for an absolute location.
But, why bother getting worked up over them when the most memorable places are found during adventure?
I believe in trusting those who will only lead you to a place of relief, love, or morality.
I'd trust Gobo to take me on any adventure that he may dream of...

I care not if we may get lost, or mistakenly turn a wrong corner.
During the time we are searching for a way out, we can dream of a better tomorrow.
Perhaps we could even sing a sweet tune to inspire our hearts to keep beating.
For a journey without a heartbeat, is nothing more than a "trip".

"Every day the world begins again..."
These are lovely words that can and will not ever be comparable.
I take this touching quote as a chance to wake up every morning and forgive myself for my foolish mistakes.
I take it also as a chance to follow you once more and have no regrets.

Never focus on what you shall find once you have arrived there.
There should be thought of not as a physical place, but a special feeling
It is the point where you can rightfully say: "This was fun."
You arrive at that destination, by focusing on the company beside you...

An Enchanting Evening With the Frog Of My Dreams​

A candle is lit to allow the fragrance of cherries to fill the air​

There is so much business and work to be handled, but for now, I do not care​

Tonight shall be about moi and vous; or names will reflect in the stars​

So my dearest Kermit, pause all of your troubles, because this enchanting night is ours​

​

I have bathed in a soothing bubble bath; allowed the scent of roses to kiss my skin​

My dream for this wondrous evening is no more than to let you in;​

Into my sweet world of loveliness, of happiness; I shall not act tame​

I shall attempt to maintain my humbleness; though your handsomeness may tamper my game​

​

Prepared by no other than your heart warming love; an elegant table dressed for two​

Staring, I cannot help but imagine another soul who would do this all for you​

Your face is finally lit up with relief, as if love has reached your heart​

It is pleasurable to seek joy in my frog who always works ever so hard​

​

This evening is my evening to cater, serve, and please​

And all I desire more than anything is to see you filled with glee​

It has been quite a bumpy road; our relationship is not perfected​

However, you must bare witness to our dearest moments where life was not as hectic​

Oh this is absolutely beautiful, the emotion is so real. A very hard thing to achieve when writing , but of course you achieved it a sonnet for vou <3
