A Letter to My Unborn: Part One
(A PiggyNarrative)
To My Dear Unborn:
I know that you are not in existence and that you only live and breathe in my heart and dreams. But nonetheless, I still want to give you a mother’s promise of love and duty.
I want you to forever be Mommy’s little angel. No matter how old, tall, or “mature” you should grow to be. I want to burn it in your heart that I will always be your guardian angel, even if your bonds with others should fail. When your days are long, and your nights; longer, I want you to call upon moi to take off the burden. I will be there to show you a brighter vision of tomorrow, and to remind you that you ARE worth far more than every single star in the glistening sky.
Every morning, I want to look in your sacred eyes, and be reminded of the precious gift that I had given birth to. And each afternoon when you return home from school, I want to be there to shower you with my love and affection. If you should have homework, I will be by you side to assist and guide you the entire way through. I will drill it into your mind, that no matter how challenging it should get, I will always be on your team.
You will have to get through the most depressing, rainiest days of your life. Those shall be the tender moments where I will want vous to call upon moi most. I will carefully sit you on my lap, and hold you tight with protection. And with inspiring words, lift you back up to the sky where you belong.
Of course your wonderful daddy will be there to love you as well. But, I want our bond to be closer than atoms are. I will never give up on you; I will forever be your eyes. And even if my time should come, we will hold hands for an eternal life in heaven together. I want to present to you all of the motherly love that I had missed in my own childhood, and make sure that you receive everything that I never had and more. Whatever it is, that you crave in your wildest dreams, shall be yours. (As long as you deserve it, of course.)
I want to teach you the jeweled life lessons that got me through my times of trouble and hardships. I want you to remember that regardless of the complicated equation, or the tough struggle of survival- love is always the answer to all. It matters not what kind of love- but you need love. And with it, I promise that you will find life to be a sensational experience.

Oh BRIDGET! You're back and I saw Muppets Most Wanted three times.

I could imagine this poem being about baby figs. A little pink frog and a small teensy green pig. Arghhhh! "Something So Right is already stuck in my head.

The attendance.... GRRRRR! There was a lot of first-time movie goers that are watching the movie I am seeing for only today. The laughter can't just die out. Okay the "lights out" made us still laugh. What was so disappointing was that the attendance was kind of... mixed. :sigh:

Thanks for sharing the poem! Be glad I saw the movie more than two times.
