On the subject of Scooter...am I therefore right in saying that you have a bit of a crush on the Muppeteer as well as the Muppet? And by crush, I meant a mild, puppy-love sort of crush. Nothing with a lot of emotional overtones.
Heh heh, she's not the only one. :flirt: :embarrassed:

Good grief. The most junior member of the Fab Five is certainly popular with the women on this forum.

Frank: The Fab Five?
M.N.: That's you and the other four.

Kermit: *clears throat* I'd just like to mention he wouldn't have had anywhere to work had it not been for Jim and I.

Scooter: Yeah, right.

Richard: You just keep right on thinkin that, frog.

(Richard gets up and starts to do a little victory dance...only to have Frank stick his foot out and trip him up.)
Richard: (picking himself up off of floor) Ow...Frank, what in Edgar Bergen's name was that for?
Frank: Jim made me do it!
Jim: Did not! (mutters something under breath) All right, any other forum females in here who have hidden fancies for Mr. Hunt?
(M.N. pretends to be very occupied with the chords to 'Yesterday.')
Scooter: Oh, no, not you, too?
Jim: Out with it, M.N.
M.N.: All right, fine. A few times, I've remarked to myself that Mr. Hunt isn't exactly chopped liver...
Mr. Adler: Go on, miss.
M.N.: And he's the kind of guy I'd love to sit and swap jokes with...
Richard: Tell them about that dream you had. It won't hurt you.
M.N.: (lays guitar aside resignedly) All right, I had a dream that I was in New York to visit a friend. This friend and I, we went for a nice long walk through Central Park, we flew kites together, we chatted about life and death and all that stuff. (gaze softens, suddenly looks a tad wistful) It was a nice dream.
Kermit: Who was the friend?
M.N.: He was in his late twenties or early thirties. Dark curly hair. Had on a black and white-striped rugby shirt and a pair of blue jeans. Looked suspiciously like Mr. Hunt over there. Learned later on in the dream that his name was in fact Richard. (turns to Mr. Adler) Well, Mr. Adler, what does it mean?
Mr. Adler: I think it means you're longing to at least be friends with Richard.
M.N.: Ah. Okay. (goes back to 'Yesterday')

----

Yes, I actually had that dream about a month ago.

Awww. You're both so lucky. The only dream I've had with him was him dressed as Sweetums. Unfair unfair unfaaaair. Did either of you do anything different before you went to bed? Cause I'll totally do anything for a dream with him that does not also involved a seven foot tall hairy monster.

Me? No, I just listened to music, read, did some work on the computer, that sort of thing. Nothing unusual. As I recall, it had been a hectic week at school, though.
I asked my doctor (also my mother) about it, and she said it was just the usual nighttime rumblings from the brain stem. I neglected to mention the possible Muppet connection, though. She'd think I've pretty much gone off the deep end...no, wait, I went off the deep end years ago.

Well...in the dream department, I've had more then one dream pertaining to our favorite youngester of the Muppet troupe.

I was an assistant on The Muppet Show, (somehow..cause it was over way before I was born. XD) like assistant to one of the Muppeters. I figured out I was basically Richard's gofer. XD I got him the puppets he needed, got him coffee, and other stuff. And I helped the other gofers with stuff that needed to be done. Well, one time during a run, Scooter's arm got a rip in it, and they really needed it to be fixed. I know my way with a needle and thread, so I got him super quick, and fixed Scooter. It wasn't particularly the henson stitch, but it got him fixed. (plus his arm is inside of his jacket, so they couldn't see it anyways.

After the run for the day, they all went out (it was a thursday I believe) to the italian resturant. Normally, I don't go with them. But Richard invited me to it. They talked about the show, while I gushed on about how it was so exciting to work with them, and all this other stuff.

(I dont' know how, but I remember clearly one exchange during the dream. It probably won't sound like what they'd say, but it's what was said.)

Jim: Richard, what do you think about this skit for next weeks show? *Hands Richard a set of papers, with text on it, presumablely the script.*

Richard: *glances at it, then sets it down on the table.* Looks great, Jim. *He seems preoccuiped talking to me.*

Jerry: Seems Richard has a girlfriend now. I guess gofer's don't look to far, do they.

Richard: *not taking his eyes off of me, although I've stopped talking now.* Your face, Jerry.

Frank: You do like her! Come on, you can't get sidetracked, Richard. We're trying to do the show for next week here.

Dave: *smirking over at Richard now.* Why did you bring her? Was it because she fixed Scooter for you?

Richard: ....uh...yeah. She's really nice! And she listens to us, instead of always gushing and forgetting what to do.

Frank: She listens to you, and to Jim. *rolls his eyes scarstacially* She dosn't listen to me.

Sara: I do listen to you Frank. I just don't know what you're meaning when you say some stuff, that's all. *Smiles.* You're such a diva, but you don't even know it!

Jim: *Smiling softly, takes a sip of water and closes his eyes gently.* Yeah, she's got ya there, Frank.

Frank: What!? *Somehow, he pulls off the "Piggy pouting face"* I'm not a diva!

Dave: She's right.

Jerry: Yep.

Frank: *Gets flustered, and in a classic Piggy fashion, stands up and places the napkin back on the table, and starts to walk away from the table.*

Richard: Where are you going?

Frank: To the bathroom, okay? I'll be back in a bit. *Is frowning deeply.*

*Richard, and everyone else starts laughing, and I start snickering. Then I wake up from the dream.*

M.N.: Yes, it's official. Renee, you clearly have a crush on Richard. (finishes 'Yesterday' and starts debating over what to play next)
Richard: Let's see...I'm the subject of two full-blown crushes and one imagined friendship, and I've popped up in the dreams of at least three people. I'm doing good tonight.
Jim: Oh, don't rub it in.

(M.N. laughs quietly, thinks for a moment and starts to play 'Why Worry' by Dire Straits.)

RL: *Laughs out loud, about to fall off of the couch now.* Yeah, you wouldn't BELIEVE the dreams I have about you Richard!!! I also imagined that we've done another MuppetFest, and that I was your daughter....that was a very nice dream. Quite sad, but very nice.
