*Decides to turn on computer radio and listen to some oldies on the other Live365 station in my preferences. Haven't listened to MCR in a while though. Oh well... *Sends some love to forum friends.
Kelly (hears radio playing): Well, I guess he's busy....
edit:
Kelly: Oh! Sorry! Water's fine, thanks. Yeah, it's yet another "the world is doomed" films. I tried mocking it in front of Spike, but, well, you know ... naturally, as a dinosaur he has a different perspective on the whole "world-ending" thing. How've you been?
Kelly (giggles): Oh yeah. I don't care what the naysayers say. It looks a lot better than the early pictures did ... and it has James Marsters. There's more than one Spike that makes me swoon.
Yeah... I'm interested to know how they pull off the Wave and the other specialty attacks that those types of shows are famous for. You know, I wonder if he'll return as Brainiac again. There was a rully good episode last Thursday, starring Zatana. <33.
Kelly (nods): From what I've seen in the trailers, Goku's Kamehameha looks more like throwing a bright blue ball than a steady stream. However, I don't know what the whole thing looks like, because the clip stops just as he says "HA!" Roshi looks like he is starting an orange spirit bomb, in the sense that he throws his arms up and orange energy starts pouring into him. Piccolo generates a red ball of energy, which he then squeezes with his hand and it explodes everything around him. Bulma's capsules seem to take a page from Transformers (from what I've heard, they even borrow the sound). I loved James as Brainiac. I stopped watching Smallville because during my pediatrics rotation, clinicals were on Thursdays and I couldn't watch it. Now I'm lost and it bugs me. What is even MORE annoying is I don't think it airs online on the WB's website. I'd probably have to buy the set to catch up.
So, it's more of a Haduke from Street Fighter's Ryu. Nah, you can probably catch up during the summer repeats. And I'm a bit lost in terms of transition myself... But it's good to catch an episode now and then. Ima not spoiling the ending of the one with Zatana though. BTW: Any other anime/animated series you follow as a fan?
