Maurice: Your day off? I am too.

Herry: Yep.

Maurice: What to do?

Murray: You are all off tomorrow?

Herry, Grover and Maurice: Yes.

Murray: Hmmmmmm...*thinks to self*

Bry: (all wrapped up in warm blankets with the humidifier on.) Sorry we couldn't have our coffee party tonight, guys.
Ernie: It's okay. Don't worry about it.
Bert: Yeah, you didn't know you'd come down with a cold. Now, you just get all snuggly comfy there. You need plenty of rest.
Bry: Thanks, Bert.
Bert: No problem.
Telly: And I'll be sleeping on the couch in the livingroom so I don't get sick too!
Bry: Good idea.
Big Bird: Do you have enough kleenex, Bryan?
Bry: Plenty, Big Bird. Thank you.
Big Bird: Cuz I remember when Snuffy was sick with the snuffle sniffles and we went through a whole bulk load of tissues!
Bert: Okay...alright! Everyone out so the patient can get some rest!
Ernie: Bryan, can we still have the party sometime later this week if you feel better?
Bry: Of course. I still have gifts for everyone.
Ernie: Oh good! Khekhekhe! Goodnight!
Bry: Goodnight!

Well... Sure glad Telly got back to Bryan's. Left Bry a thermos of chick pea soup and lemon tea, that'll hopefully help cure his cold.

Ernie: (carrying a piping hot bowl) Here's your chick pea soup from Ed, Bryan.
Bry: Thank you, Ernie. I must send a note to Ed thanking him also.
Big Bird: Chicken soup? Yelch!
Bry: No, Big Bird. Chick pea soup. There's no chicken in here.
Big Bird: Oh good.
Bry: Ah, I hate being sick.
Big Bird: Where did this cold come from, anyway?
Bry: I don't know. Somewhere between Florida and home, I guess. My throat feels fine so far. It's mainly up in my sinuses, but it's hard to breathe and it's such a nasty feeling.
Ernie: Just take it easy. And if you need anything, just let us know.
Bry: Thanks, Ernie.
Ernie: You're welcome. Well, I'm going out to play. See ya later! (runs outside)
Big Bird: Want me to read you a story, Bryan?
Bry: Not right now, Big Bird. I think I'm going to take a little nap.
Big Bird: Oh. Well, maybe later then. I'll just let you rest.
Bry: Thanks.

Hmmm... Maybe that story Ryan wrote, Street Smarts would be just the thing to cheer up Bryan's day. Oh well, Ernie knows where it is in the library shelves. *Edges book out a little so the spine's easier to find.

Big Bird: How are you feeling, Bryan?
Bry: Much better, Big Bird. Thank you.
Big Bird: Yaaaaay! Now we can play!
Bry: Well, I'd love to play, but I really can't right now.
Big Bird: Why not?
Bry: Well, now that my tour is over, I need to start looking for another job.
Big Bird: Oh...
Bry: But I promise to play with you later. Plus, later this afternoon, I thought we could open the room to our friends to drop by for some coffee and cookies. And I can give out gifts from my trip.
Big Bird: Oh boy! Okay...well, I guess I'll just go find Ed and see what he's doing.

*Downstairs... Oh hi Big Bird. No, I'm sorry... I'm reading some documents for my upcoming exams this week. But hey, I think the Count's outside with Bert and Ernie and some of the monsters. You might want to check there to see if someone will play with you. If not, we can meet at Bryan's room later and read that story of Ryan's about Sesame. Sound good buddy?
OK then... Oh, and please tell Bryan that CMX place has some interesting bird pictures in its Gray Matters articles.

Ok guys. Tonight is my niece's graduation.

Herry: Which one?

Bonnie. This is really big for her.

Grover: Ooooh i really like her. She is really cute and adorable.

Yep. She is. Alright. If ya'll are coming then start getting ready around 5 or so.

Murray: Can i take her something?

Like what?

Murray: Cookies my mommy made.

Cookies? What for?

Murray: Just to give to her after she's done graduating.

That would be really sweet Murray. *kisses Murray's head,doesn't see Maurice* Where's Maurice?

Herry: Last i saw him he was talking to Oscar.

Out in the hallway..........

Maurice: Tonight's Kyle's niece graduation. You coming?

Oscar: Me a grouch?

Maurice: Yes.

Oscar: You better believe it. My niece, Filthomena is graduating tonight too.

*sees Maurice* There you are. Don't forget to start getting ready Maurice.

Maurice: Don't worry. I already am. See. *holds up a suit*

Good. Go get it on. So are you coming, Oscar?

Oscar: Believe i will.

That's fine. I know a grou....you will? What? So you can heckle them kids?

Oscar: No. I have a niece that's graduating too.

Here with the nice kids?

Oscar: Yes! Us grouches might not go to nice schools but we still graduate with other kids other then just grouches.

Don: Yeah, just making sure I've got all my sheet music together.. I really excited about sitting in with the band at Birdland tonight! Hoots and I haven't worked together in ages!

(as Johnny and Sal enter the room)

Randall: Hey guys! You coming to Birdland tonight?
Don: You'll get to hear some absolutely fantastic piano playing!
Johnny: I dunno... I am just exhausted!
Randall: Oh? .. What did you guys do today?
Sal: We sat out by the pool.. you know, workin' on our tans.
Randall: No wonder you're tired...

Gonzo: *wide eyes* Gee, Ryan, you're sure typing in a hurry. Got some fan-fic you just have to get out?
Ryan: *typing furiously* Not exactly. I've gotta type this paper for my English final, then turn it in tomorrow, then study for a chemistry quiz that my teacher suddenly decided to spring on us the day before finals, and then if I'm still alive, I might post more fan-fic.
Gonzo: ...Well, uh, good luck with all that. Sounds like you're gonna be pretty busy, huh?
Ryan: Ha! Are you kidding? You don't know busy until you've met me! Thursday I have to go into school to take one lousy final, then I have to come back home and babysit. Then Friday I have to go to breakfast and lunch with my friends, then at four we're going to see Pirates. Which reminds me, I have to Fandango tickets tonight! Then, Friday night we leave for the Lake of the Ozarks for a WEEK!
Gonzo: ...You're leaving for a week?
Ryan: Yes!
Gonzo: And we're staying... where?
Ryan: *falls over*
Gonzo: On the floor?
Pepe: *pokes head in* I hope I am long gone by den, hokay?
