Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Skeeter:*walks in* Uh oh..what's up?
Christyb: Bad day.
Skeeter: You're letting things really get to you huh?
Christyb: More than I should.
Skeeter: Mopin' time is over. *drags Christyb up and out the door*
Christyb: Where are you taking me? Heeelllpppp! I'm being abducted by my own roomie! If that's possible.
Skeeter: Oh calm down ice cream should do the trick.

Ice cream huh? There's the Deep Freeze parlor, just across the street from the boarding house, think it's probably on Whitmire Wharf. You can look it up in one of the maps available on the shelves next to the vending machines on any floor.

Nora: (reading comics in the main room) Yeah, there's Deep Freeze...and I hear they just opened up a new parlor on the other side of town. I think it's called Cold Comfort or something.
(MN appears from kitchen with a cup of tea and a bowl of ramen)
Storyteller: Deadline time again?
MN: Yeah, this time it's a concert review. And my ears are still ringing...I think after I'm done I could use a frozen treat from either Deep Freeze or Cold Comfort.
Nora: Well what about the ice cream maker?
MN: Sorry, Nor. I had to send it down to the Fix-It Shop for a new gasket, so we won't have it for a few days.
Nora: Nuts.
MN: Yeah, I'm crushed, too. A friend gave me a new gelato recipe: chocolate, raspberry and almond. Gotta run. (goes into room with lunch)
Nora: So how are Richard and the others doing?
Storyteller: Well, the doctor says they'll all be back at work tomorrow if all goes well.

 

[The Count]

Hmmm... Good, Deep Freeze could use a bit of competition. Guess Cold Comforts would be next to the deli on Chris Cerf Street. Well, at least that puts it within walking distance of the dorms, the bookstore, and the main theater on Central Hunt Street.

Wonder if Ru's around... Been meaning to talk to her, maybe she can lend some advice/inspiration.

Me: *walks into dorm room* Hey guys I'm home!
Uncle Deadly: Ryan? What on earth are you doing home?
Me: Half day of school Uncle D., and it couldn't've happened on a better day, I've still got some finishing touches on the award show.
Uncle D.: Mmm, I see. So, no homework then?
Me: I never said that...Where are the others?
UD: Well, Clifford still has class, and Gonzo is off...Well I don't know where he and Camilla went off to.
*huge explosion is heard outside*
Me: *sigh* I'll go pick up the pieces...

 

[BEAR]

Ernie: Looks like some of the other kids are going out for ice cream.
Bry: Where?
Ernie: Deep Freeze or Cold Comforts.
Big Bird: They could always go to Mr. Looper's Store.
Bry: That's Hooper, Big Bird.
Telly: Yeah, Hooper's Store has everything!
Bry: That's pretty much true. Well, let's get some lunch and head down to the MC Awards. It's getting close to that time.
Bert: Oh yeah...I need to find my tux!

MN: All right, the story's been safely dispatched. Now who's up for ice cream?
Nora: Me! Me!
Storyteller: (grabs purse)Oooh, there's one radish ripple cone with my name on it!
Nora: Yeah, and I want the strawberry with the chocolate-coated shortbread chunks in it! What are you going for?
MN: Oh, I don't know...oh, what the heck, I've been a good girl lately. They're offering double chocolate with hazelnuts in it.
(collective swoon)
Storyteller: Oh, stop it, you're making me gain ten pounds. (all head out)

Me: *trying on tuxedo* Hey Uncle D., how do I look?
Uncle Deadly: Hmm, I do like your monkey suit.
Me: Ha ha, very funny Deadly.
Gonzo: Hey Ryan, there won't be any chicken served at the after party will there?
Me: No Gonzo, of course not.
Gonzo: Thank goodness...
Camilla: Baw, bagawk!
Me: Well guys, I'm gonna head on over to the banquet hall early. Just make sure you guys are ready when it's time for the show to start.
Gonzo: You bet!
UD: No problem my fiend, will let Clifford know when he returns from class.
Me: Thanks guys! See you soon!
