Bry: Okay, guys! Come on in here!
(Big Bird comes in from his nest, Bert and Ernie come in from their room, and Hoots swoops in and perches on the window sill. Telly is already in the livingroom sitting on the couch.)
Big Bird: What is it, Bryan?
Hoots: Yeah, man! What's happenin'?
Bert: (rubbing his head) I was in the middle of a nap.
Ernie: And I was in the middle of playing my drums during his nap.
Bry: Ernie...we're moving those drums out of your room and in here.
Bert: Thank you.
Bry: Now, why I called you in here is because we need to figure out what we're going to give Ryan for his birthday.
Bert: Let's put our noggins together!

(Storyteller unveils a big cake with the number 16 written across the top.)

MN: I think he'll like that.
Nora: Yeah...now, we need to work on what we're going to be on the 31st.
Storyteller: I'm going as either the Wizard or the Mean Genie.
MN: Good. Now, Nora, I realize that you're the one with the Sherlock Holmes costume, but as your room's got the Jekyll and Hyde theme...
Nora: That's okay. I was planning on going as a mad scientist this year. I've got the lab coat, fright wig and everything.
MN: And I usually go as the Grim Reaper. But I shouldn't have too much trouble coming up with a tweed cloak and deerstalker hat in my size.
Storyteller: By the way, how's the...you know...coming?
MN: Fine. And Nora, I need you to do me a favor. (takes out a list of names) I need you to get me some photos of these Muppets. (hands Nora the list) I need to know how to sketch them, and I need a few reference photos.
Nora: Can do. But if they ask what you need the photos for, what do I tell them?
MN: Just tell them that it's for an art project of some variety, and that they'll see it when it's done.

Uh Erin... Not sure if you got the memo... Well, no you didn't, since I didn't send one...
But we're having a group party for Ryan and a couple of other residents of the dorms on Friday... So you might want to stash that cake in the fridge till then.


Now then, just need to make myself comfy cozy for Monday Night in front of the tube. Leave a message if you guys need me for something.

(pacing room) I probably didn't. It's probably buried in the morass on my desk.

Storyteller: Oh, it'll keep. (stashes cake in fridge) Erin, what is it? You've been pacing back and forth for the last five minutes.
Nora: Yeah, what's going on?
MN: Guys...you know how I said I was going to keep that green thing under wraps for a while?
N & S: Yeah.
MN: I just spoke with the project's co-creator. I think it's time to spill the proverbial beans.

Me: Well thanks Bry, but my parents actually got me my own car! *bounces* It's a '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It's black with gold trim, totally awesome. And I've suped it up with a Kermit air freshner and a Kermit antenna topper! It's great! And the first CD I played in it was the new "Green and Red Christmas" CD! What a life!
