Sara: *Is handstitching black gossamer onto her witches hat, with her long black dress ready to go next.* This is easier then I thought it would be...
Sadie: Your mother was a seamstress Sara. You've learned from her!
Sara: Yeah, well. I can't sew a straight seam if my life depended on it, Sadie. But hand-stitching....perfect for me.
Scooter: *Admiring the new embroidery Sara had done to his jacket. She repaired the Muppet Shows emblem on the back of it.* This is perfect for you. This looks brand-new! Thanks!
Sara: No prob, Scoot. *She finishes up and settles the black hat on her head, and glances at herself in the mirror. The child's witch hat she got at the Dollar Store looks great now.* Awesome.
Sadie: Now to try on that dress! Have you finished it yet?
Sara: No. I've gotta get some more gossamer and some black piping for it. It was a little tight on me when I first got it, so I'm kinda...building it up, so it won't look like I'm melted and poured into it. But it is super comfortable.
Scooter: *Notices the dress is short-sleeved* You arn't going to make your entire arms green are you?
Sara: Oh no! I'm going to stitch in some black tight-weave netting. I don't have that much green makeup. Plus....I threw away my yellow. It was so old! And crumbly. If I have too, I can probably make some more, but I don't want to risk it...so I'm making slightly flared tight-weave black netting sleeves. I'm going to underhem those to the sleeves.
Scooter: Cool. Can't wait to see how those turn out!
