Red: Hey Bryan, I help keep the pools clean and pretty, so that's my main job around the dorms, just to let you know!
Mokey: I work at the library part time which isn't actually in the dorms but still on campus
Red: Just thought that would help as you're gathering a list! See you later!

Would that be at the campus library or Three Candles Mokey?
Oh... If Beth's around... Just wondering what a good symbol for time would be, besides the obvious clock/watchface/hourglass. Just need a finishing touch for one of my counting creatures.

Yeah... Doesn't help that Lisa and Sara haven't posted anything new lately either... Just juggling a couple of things, need to see how I want to end the next part before going to the musical number lined up.
Lisa: <walking past> Not posted anything new lately? I just postd a chapter last night! And really, it's writing that's the trouble- er, well, not really, it's having time for writing... I STILL haven't finished the chapter before the chapter I wanted to have done before I posted the chapter I posted last night! <Sigh,> but maybe- MAYBE I'll finish homework quickly while waiting for my mom at Hebrew School this afternoon, and MAYBE I can write some there, and/or if I get some freetime at rehearsals this evening... I'll get to it, really I will! I promise! But in the meantime, I'm taking a walk. See ya guys later!

We know Lisa. Lots of things to do, so little time... Don't suppose you'd have a suggestion about what I asked of Beth? You Bry? You can contact me directly...

UD: Wonder if Sara has taken any of our conversation and let it fester in her brain for another chapter or two.
Count: 1 can only hope... Ah ha! I love numbered puns 2.

Thanks, Ed. By the way, my roomies and I look forward to more fan-fic. Big Bird is getting a bit impatient. and you know how he gets when he is impatient...whine whine whine whine whine. Haha!
Tell Big Bird that I'll try to get my next part written for my story (Muppets In Space) tonight or tomorrow, and tell him it won't be in the fan fic section because I made a little mistake and put it in the Classic Muppets section .:embarrassed:

Bry: Well, Ed, if you are asking for other types of time "symbols" you could consider a sun dial or simply something to do with the sun and moon. I know that sun/moon thing sounds pretty hippie-ish. Mokey would probably give an idea like that. There are also several different types of clocks, such as pocket watch or grandfather clock with the pendulem. Oh, what's that, Big Bird?
Big Bird: My cousin Raymond tells time for a living.
Bry: For a living? What do you mean?
Big Bird: Cousin Raymond is a rooster. He lives on a farm and every morning he crows when the sun comes up.
Bry: Really?
Big Bird: Yeah! There's an old joke that since people have started using alarm clocks to wake up, most of his friends have been replaced and out of a job. They like to call alarm clocks "mechanical roosters". Isn't that funny? Hehehe!!
Bry: Hey, yeah. That might give Ed some ideas. Thanks, Big Bird! Hope this helps a bit, Ed. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

Mechanical roosters? Makes sense, since my talking watch has an alarm call imitating a rooster's crowing. Course, I have it set to the musical snooze feature, with one of the interludes the watch has programmed into it, usually Green Sleeves or the Godfather theme.

The clock's meant to be a grandfather one, just looking for those last little details... Think I might finish on my own, but thanks for the info.
Maybe I'll have more story tomorrow too, at least I know I'll be busy on campus till late afternoon.
Good night guys.

Cookie M: You mean grouchey.

Herry: Yea. Stinky and slimey.

Scooter: ....*staring at the computer screen* Good god.

Sara: What? *she's lounging on her bed, watching VMC*

Scooter: Your...your story!!

Sara: Was the ending bad for Forgotten Wishes? I might change it again...

Scooter: No! It's....it's all huge!

Jim: How many pages is the entire book, Scooter?

Scooter: *Clicks a few things* At her normal settings of only one half an inch of space on the sides of the pages, and at size 10 with arial typeset it's about....175,209 words long.

Jerry: *turned around and watched Sara as she lazily was watching VMC* ...show me your hands, please.

Sara: *Looks back at them, and lifts up her arms, showing him her hands.* What? I've still got them.

Jim: I'm honestly suprised you still do.

Frank: That's a whole LOT of words there!

Scooter: ...*shakes head, then starts to glance over the finished stories.* Are you going to write more for it?

Sara: Maybe...not sure where the story would go though. I might redo that last one, take out the Back to the Future stuff.

Jim: ...wow.

Sara: I'll take that as a "That's awesome!" *smiles, and goes back to watching VMC.*
