Lisa: Heyyyyyyyy Robin!
Robin: Hi Lisa!
Lisa: How ya doin', Robin?
Robin: I'm good.
Lisa: TERRIFFIC! Me too! Hey, y'wanna come with me and give these frrrrrreshly baked brownies to Beth?
Robin: Sure!
Lisa: EXCELLENT! Let's go!
Robin: Why are we giving her brownies?
Lisa: Because, little frog, her story is awesome. And as you know, I simply adore awesome stories.
Robin: Oh. Well, shouldn't we give brownies to Renee, too? I heard her story's really good, too.
Lisa: Ah, yes, I'm sure it is. But unfortunately, I'm not exactly rolling in free time, and I still haven't even finished reading her last one yet, much less started reading her new one. I'll catch up next week, though. Oh, next week is going to be GRAND!
Robin: It is?
Lisa: It sure is! I'm not gonna have any school, and I'm gonna do my German project, and I'm gonna read a whole bunch of fanfiction, and I'm gonna visit exactly THREE colleges, and I'm gonna turn seventeen, and best of all I'm gonna- <looks at Robin>- um- do something else that I, uh, can't talk about.
Robin: Why can't you talk about it?
Lisa: Well if I told you why I can't talk about it, I'd be talking about it, and I can't talk about it.
Robin: ...That's complicated...
Lisa: Sure is.
Robin: That must mean it's fanfiction. Right?
Lisa: Left!
Robin: What?
Lisa: Nothing.
Robin: Is it fanfiction?
Lisa: I told you I can't talk about it.
Robin: It's fanfiction! Did you talk to Ryan? Are you guys gonna write more finally? Is he coming back soon?
Lisa: Slow down, slow down, slow down! Okay, I confess, it's fanfiction. Yes, I talked to Ryan, but no, that's not what I was referring to. We will write more eventually, yes. I have no idea when he's coming back.
Robin: So you're writing something else?
Lisa: I didn't say that.
Robin: Oh. ...But if you don't know when Ryan's coming back, but you know you're doing fanfiction next week, and you already said you'd be reading fanfiction so you couldn't mean that, then-
Lisa: Sh.
Robin: You ARE writing something else!
Lisa: Shhhhhhh! Yes, I'm writing something else. I'm probably not gonna post it until Prawnie and I finish "The Time the Muppets Beat Time," but I've been working on it.
Robin: Is it another long one?
Lisa: Really long. I'm thinking it's going to be at least three times as long as Swamp Call.
Robin: Wow! Am I in it?
Lisa: Of course you're in it! In fact, that's part of why I'm in such a good mood. In exactly two more scenes, you will have officially entered the story.
Robin: How much have you written?
Lisa: Well um, I'm not actually sure... But I think your first scene is going to end up being in chapter twelve.
Robin: Chapter twelve?
Lisa: I know, it's about eleven chapters past where you usually come in in my stories. I hope you don't mind, it's just- You happen to play a very essential role that sort of requires you to be- well- late.
Robin: Oh. That's okay.
Lisa: OH good! So why are we still standing here? Let's get these brownies to Beth already.
Robin: Okay!
