Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Hey Bry, need any help? Got all the presents wrapped up and ready to hand out. Got something triangular for Telly, something to remind Grover of home, and a certain little present for you know who.
See you at the party, and happy birthday to Telly!

Bry: Hey, Ed! Come on out and help if you'd like! We are gonna put on some music and start the party when more people show up and everything is set. Hey, Big Bird, would you please hang these streamers across the high beams? Thanks.

 

[The Count]

OK... I'll just gather up all the wrapped gifts and put them on a table in the pool area.
*Goes to get gifts left at rooms' doorsteps and brings them to the pool area.
Told Ryan to come by once he has the cards to go with his gifts.
*Drops gifts carefully on table set up.

OK, I'll go get the burgers and hot dogs, along with chips and dip for the party. Me thinks Lisa and the Chef have the cake baking in their room.

Kim: Come on, guys, we don't want to be late for the party!

Gillis: Hang on, hang on... *scribbles something down on a piece of paper* There.

Kim: Gillis, you can work on your composition later. Telly's birthday party, remember? And Grover's is today too.

Gillis: Right. *puts the paper on his nighttable* Well, I'm ready to go.

Tosh: About time.

Beast: *grumbling* Yeah.

Boober: I'm ready.

Kim: Okay. And I've got the presents, so we should be all set.

Gillis: Just a moment...what are we getting them?

Kim: Don't worry, I've got that covered. Tosh and I did some shopping while we were gone last week. *points to the long package under her arm* This is for Telly; it's a stand for him to hang his triangles on so that he can play them all at once. I also threw in some cleaner, polish and a couple cleaning rags so that he can keep his triangles looking bright and shiny.

Boober: And what about Grover? It's nothing dangerous, I hope.

Kim: I got him a new Mexican hat and two pairs of castanets, so he can practice his Mexican Waiter Dance.

Tosh: Sounds good. Let's go!

*walking into the party* Hey guys! Happy birthday Grover! Happy birthday Telly! *hands them presents*

Clifford: Cool party. Now, where are the babes?

Gonzo: Right here! *he grabs Camilla*

Camilla: Bagawk!

Clifford: I'll pass on that one man.

UD: Probably a good idea.

 

[The Count]

*Comes into pool area wheeling cart with burgers, hot dogs, fixings, and chips and dip.
Phew... At least we'll eat good tonight.

Oh yeah, the refreshments... Sodas and cans of iced tea are here in the ice chest. *Lower rack of cart has the ice chest with cans of tea inside and bottles of soda too.
So, where are the birthday monsters?

Telly: Oh boy! Everything looks so great! Thanks everyone. Where's Grover?
Bry: I dunno, I am sure the other monsters will be here soon. Thanks, Ed, for helping set up, by the way. Everyone dig in for some food. There is plenty for all. We've got burgers and hotdogs, some garden and birdseed burgers for some of our vegetarians...
Big Bird: Thanks.
Bry: Salad, vegies and dip, chips, peanut butter sandwich squares for Grover, and plenty of other goodies. I think Chef is supposed to bring a cake by too.

Mokey: Happy Birthday Grover and Telly!
Beth: Hope you like your presents! Telly, we got you a musical triangle to play with and Grover, we got you the first season of Smallville on DVD, since it's about Superman when he was young.
Red: Look at all the food! This will be fun!
Mokey: Hey Big Bird, got your message, I'm excited to join the Birdketeers!
Beth: Well ladies, let's go mingle!

Bry: Big Bird, what are you doing with Oscar's can?
Big Bird: I am bringing it out here so that he can join the party. He wouldn't leave his can so I brought the can here. We can't have a party pooper.
Snuffy: Good idea, Bird.
Big Bird: Thank you!
Rosita: Its nice that so many people showed up!
Big Bird: Hi, Mokey. I am so glad you decided to join Birdkateers. Tell all your Fraggle friends.
Bry: Having fun, Telly?
Telly: Oh yeah! I just can't stop dancin!

Lisa: Gosh, dorm room seems kind of empty with no one else in here. I sure hope Rowlf, Chef, and Robin are having a good time at Telly and Grover's party, and that both monsters like what we got them... what did we get them, anyway? <sigh> Too much to think about. Have to focus. Hebrew School went well, cousin's bridal shower went well, and now I just have to write two essays, one page each, and finish reading and annotating the next two chapters of The Scarlet Letter. If only I could figure out what to write for those essays... <sigh> I guess I'll have to force myself into reading...
