Beth:Well Red, is everything all set for the game tomorrow?
Red: Yep, there will be a bus outside of the student center at 6:00 for anyone who wants to ride. I guess we're playing Barney University.
Beth:I didn't know there was a Barney U. Well, I'm sure we'll beat them.
Mokey: Football is such a violent sport, I just don't know if I want to go
Beth: That's ok Mokey! In fact, I would bet since Kathy hurt her back she won't be going tomorrow either, but Prairie Dawn will since she's a cheerleader. Maybe you'd like to stay back and keep Kathy company?
Mokey: That's a nice idea! Maybe her and I can watch a movie or read her some poetry or something.
Red: Well I can't wait for the game! It will be really fun!
Beth: Me too Red, but you should respect Mokey's decision.
Red: Oh I know. It's fine with me Mokey, I know you're more of a peaceful sort.
Mokey: Thanks Red. Well, let's get ready for bed.
Beth: Sounds good to me!

That's one of the things that gets me angry, to winning only to lose out to some schmuck who just plops in the bid before the last second finger ready on the trigger button to send the bid before I have a chance to see and raise the bid.
