Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Hello everyone! Thanks for the popcorn last night Count!
Red: It was yummy!
So Red, are you ready for the fireworks tonight?
Red: Yep! I can't wait!
What are you doing in the meantime?
Red: I don't know, figured I'd go down to the pool, see if anyone wants to grill anything later.
What are you going to grill?
Red: Radishes of course!
I should've guessed. Oh well. Hope everyone is having a great 4th of July or a great Monday, whichever applies to them!

 

[The Count]

Well, the party's in full swing. The decorations are placed... Red and white and blue streams all over the halls, and firework cylinders hanging from the rafters or placed along the banisters. There are some sparkler decorations along the outline of the dormhouse, and down near the pool.
The barbecue will be lit and the food prepped later this afternoon so we can have a hearty picnic cookout meal. Dessert will be provided by Kathy and Prairie and myself. Fireworks display will begin at 11:00 PM EST so everybody will have a chance to get here and see them.
Hope you guys have a great time at the dorms Independence USA-styled party.

Count: Thank you Prairie. Looks vonderful. Brought dessert ourselves as vell... Vanilla and chocolate ice cream, for whoever wants it alone or pie a la mode.
Yep, sounds good pal. Well, let's take stock of the grill.

OK, we got grilled radishes and peppers, hot dog sausages, pieces of beef for making shish-kabobs with the roasted veggies, and of course some bat burgers and ribs.
Oh, and there's cole slaw and egg salad for whoever wants some also. This looks great.
So... Dig in guys and enjoy the meal.

Hey guys! It's starting!

*Everybody rushes out to the patio area to see the fireworks display.

*Gonzo's talking to Crazy Harry.

Wow, they're doing...

Awesome! Look, there's a silhouette of color...
Wow, it's the shape of Kermit's head, and there are the others from the dorms.
Oooh, there's Janice rockin' on her guitar.

Wow, they captured you perfectly Count with the bat and cloud beneath.

Count: Vonderful! I get to count up all the fireworks!
Be back in a sec guys, gonna check on something.

Sorry I hd to leave... Needed a bathroom pit stop.
*Looks up to the fireworks shooting off.

Oooh, look! They're doing the fireworks alphabet from Sesame Street now.
That brings back some good memories.

*Everybody rattles off the letters as they appear in the night sky.
Yaeeeey! Great stuff guys.

I didn't get to see fireworks last year...

Hey... At least you have the opportunity to see 'em Lisa. Which is more than I can say what with my blind batty eyes. And besides, thought Bo saying Chasing Robin Chapter 1 was the best work you've done yet was better than getting to see fireworks this year.
