Hope your Memorial Day is a safe & peaceful one as well..The same goes for everyone (and a Happy Monday for those who aren't in the US) Might have thunderboomers here in FL then,but this is nothing new.
I've spent practically the whole day moving things from my old Internet Service to my new one.That plus putting my Email addys into my new Internet Service. I didn't realize how many friends I had !

Oh... So that's where you were today. Thought you made a pact to meet up with Kyle at Wal-Mart today and get the first DVD copies of Garfield Vol. 3 and Garfield's Fantasies.

Well, the oven's fixed and cleaned, there's pizza with basic toppings cooled down by now on the counter in the common room. Got pepperoni, onions and peppers as toppings.
Looking forward to Monday though. It'll be Memorial Day, and that means one thing to me... BBQ Ribs!
At least, I hope we might have some. We could have a nice lunch in the outer patio area of the dormhouse.

You know...as much of a Garfield fan I am, I never saw Garfield's Feline Fantasies. I have yet to finish the Garfield DVDs I have.
I'll pass on the pizzas (peppers & onions on pizzas aren't my favorite things ) But the ribs? YUMMY!!!!

OK, a few things to tend to.
1 Ryan (theprawncracker)... The lobby is the front area where new boarders come to check into the dormhouse and get set up as new boarders. The area I was talking about was the Common Room, the large open room at the center of each floor's hallway of rooms. Not to worry though, many people make that mistake around here and I just wanted to help you know where we're at in terms of dormhouse lingo and location.
2 Kathy, Garfield's Feline Fantasies was a good special. Happen to have the book in my collection and I was lucky enough to see it when it debuted in 1992 before my sight started failing. Basically, it's an hourlong test of the theory that someone will always come along whenever you're imagining you're in a perilous situation and rescue you. The first test takes place with the imaginary scenario of a daring in-flight emergency sort of like Airplane though not quite. It's just your basic airplane going down with no engines deal. The second test, which takes up much of the special, the better one, is the secret agent mission to recover the Banana of Power.
You should check it out if you get the chance.
Well, gonna go back to sleep in a while, too early to be out of one's tombs.

Dee: Afternoon all.No thunderclaps yesterday,what a bummer.I wish it would rain though,it's going to be almost 80 degrees today(it's 70 right now).I hung up some Pink Floyd-The Wall & James Dean-Rebel Without a Cause posters here in our dormroom.We decided to freshen up the room,we're switching everything from one side of the room to the other.That's our plan for the day.Tonight were going to have a pizza party & watch some musicals on the tele-Chicago,Moulin Rouge,The Rocky Horror Picture Show(to name a few).Hiya Kathy,Happy Memorial Day weekend to you too,have a safe and joyous holiday!

Nice sneak reference there D. And it looks like it'll start raining soon. Good thing we got some shopping done after lunch with my mom and some relatives. Bought burger patties and fresh vanilla ice cream, might have something whipped up for tomorrow.
BTW: Let us know when the musicals start up, interested in seeing Moolan Rouge and it'd be a treat to see Rocky Horror for the first time with dormhouse buddies and my roomie here.

That's OK JFS. Gonna see if I can do a bit of brainstorming, since the rain never materialized around these parts.
Gonna be scoping out a couple of Memorial Day marathons on the tube, like the Kim Possible and Cartoon Summer 2005. Just LMK when the musicals will be on and we'll join you and the band.

Oh yeah, dinner will be ready in a little while, not sure what we're having. Maybe a BBQ chicken sandwich with all the trimmings. Yeah, sounds good especially with a vanilla milkshake.
