Kelly (calmly walks out of her room)

Spike (with Cotterpin on his shoulder, with fake anger): 'Ey! You still got homework, lil' lady! Get your tail back in here! *snickers*

Kelly (not looking back): It's not taking as long as I thought. I've been staring at a computer for 4 hours. I'm taking a break.

Cotterpin (whispers to Spike, breaking 4th wall): She DOES realize she has to be on a computer to be HERE, right?

Kelly (gasps with inspiration): You know what would be AWESOME? If I were like Tsukasa on .hack and ended up in the internet and could visit the dorms PHYSICALLY! Now THAT would be WAY COOL!

Spike: You DO realize he/she managed to nearly get himself/herself killed sev'ral times durin' dat show, right?

Kelly (shakes head): So? I'd be IN THE INTERNET! That TOTALLY makes up for any problems that might happen.

Spike: So, where are we going?

Kelly (shows Spike the pool key): It's hot and I need a break.

Cotterpin (alarmed): Doozers don't SWIM!

Kelly (shrugs): So, don't swim.

Spike: You ain't got a swimsuit.

Kelly: I've got clothes.

Spike: Chlorine'll eat t'rough 'em.

Kelly (stops and smirks): Since when are you an expert in fabrics?

Spike: O_O

 

[The Count]

Hmm... If Doozers don't swim... Then maybe you could quickchange your scooter into a water craft like those racecars from Hannah Barbera's Fenderbender 500? *Thinks of it... Cotterpin revving by in her scooter... Then it flips some pieces up and over... And the next thing you know, there's a Doozer jet scooter on the water in the pool.

Cotterpin (begging to Ed): Please don't let them take me to the POOOOOOOL! I don't CARE if there were a way to get me in there! If I wouldn't go with Red, my best friend of all time, I wouldn't go with THESE guys!

Spike (pats Cotterpin on the head lightly): Don't worry 'bout it, short stuff. I'll keep ya company.

Kelly: You're not swimming?

Spike: Swimming's like baths. 'Sides, I live near swamps. You know what lives in dere?

Kelly (laughing): I sincerely doubt there are swamp monsters in the pool.

Kelly (dripping wet, frumpily returns to room 2)

Cotterpin (on Spike's shoulder): Wow. I had NO IDEA you actually LIKED that stupid movie about the giant lizard that grew big 'cause he got blown up and destroyed a city.

Spike (chuckling, also dripping wet, from reenacting Godzilla underwater scenes in the pool): Fun movie, no. Fun ta imitate an' scare your roomies ... oh, **** yeah! *goes to room 2 ... to find the door locked* Uh.

Cotterpin (giggles): Someone's sleeping outside tonight. *giggles some more*

Sadie: Where have you been the past few days.

Sara: Been doing wedding stuff. Sorry, it'll be like this till my wedding in June 27th. Then I'll be gone for a couple weeks for my honeymoon.

Skeeter: *Glancing up from her game that she's playing on the tv.* Get prepared for her only checking in for a few days at a time, Mom.

Sadie: *frowns a bit, then smiles* Oh well. At least you're still hanging around I guess.

Spike: Hey, Cotterpin, is dat a light I see on in room 8?

Cotterpin (still on Spike's shoulder, nods): Yeah, Kelly said some new guys moved in.

Spike: Well, toots ain't gonna let me back in tonight. Let's go say hi. *knocks on Sara's door* 'Ey, you up for visitors?

*Spike and Cotterpin look at each other quizzically*

Spike (to the door): Uh ... I don't bite ... here, anyway.

Cotterpin (stares at the unopened door): Wow. That's ... I mean, the first time, it was because Kelly wanted us to go to bed early.

Spike: Ah, well. I'm gonna go sleep outside on the lawn. *sets Cotterpin down and takes her scooter out of his pocket* Here ya go. At least YOU can fit t'rough da hole in da door.

Cotterpin: You're really gonna go sleep outside?

Spike: Look, Little Bit: I'm not sad 'bout Kel keepin' me outta da room. I LIKE da fresh air. 'Sides, I'm soakin' wet. Don't want ta mildew da place.

Cotterpin: Um, well, okay. *leaves for room 2 while Spike heads upstairs to go outside*

Kelly (sighs with mild contentment on the sofa in the common room): Nearly caught up with all the homework.

Cotterpin (sitting beside her on the sofa): You know, not to nag or anything, but if you'd done that just a little bit each day, you wouldn't be racing to finish it off now.

Kelly: At least I'm not as bad off as some of my classmates. They hadn't done any of it.

Cotterpin: So ... you're a MEDIOCRE procrastinator?

Kelly (smiles): Everything in moderation, you know....

*UD eats toast... *Uses purple umbrella to deflect water.

Back at Room #1... Hmm, that's the first time you've come back with the gifts given to others. And it's the same message I post with all gifts, you're not obliging them to send back something from your wishlist Fata... But if they have it, we'd hope they could give it us. Oh well. Run along and see if you can increase your teapot total and make some more friends.
*The little black cat scampers off, purple basket loaded with foods and decoration items for gifting.

Count: Everything else all fright?
Yes... The first square class of haunters is finished.
Count: That's a 5x5 class?
Yep... Five more of those to go to get all the ones we lined up completed. Will have to ask help eventually though.
Count: Ah...
Yeah... You know I have a particular idea for Kelly's Muppet version.
Count: Mmhm...
Well, dunno if I should tell about the other idea that came after she came back from the pool yesterday. And then there's the question of our casting choices for Prairie and Spammy... Oh well, a little bit at the beginning, we'll see the good things getting better every day.
