Ultimately, he went with "mahna-ma". But it was funny seeing/hearing the Hensonian nod during that piece. So... Anything new with you?

Kelly: Well, I --.

Cotterpin: She's thinking of ways to kill me, actually.

Kelly (rolls eyes, to Cotterpin): Don't start. Yeah, I've been thinking of my Doozer fic. My mother and I just got back not too long ago from walking two and a half miles. We're trying to exercise more. How about you?

Been okay. Trying to do a bit of final sorting to get started with my own cast of characters. I liked how you interpreted Dixie Wailing in the play.

Cotterpin: Oh, yeah, that was MY idea.

Kelly (shocked): It was NOT! You've been against this story the ENTIRE time!

Cotterpin: No, you've just misinterpreted. I ALWAYS welcome a chance to make a name for myself!

Kelly (gritting her teeth): I'm starting to think of a few myself....

Cotterpin (nervous laughter)

Heh... By the way... What did you mean at the end of the last scene posted so far?

Cotterpin (sulking): I can guess ...

Kelly: Wrench believes that if he hadn't told Cotterpin she should be a normal Doozer, she wouldn't have stubbornly stayed and died.

Cotterpin (to Ed, protesting): See?

Kelly (to Cotterpin): I didn't say you WERE dead. I only said Wrench and the others THINK you're dead.

Cotterpin: What?

Kelly (sighs): Look. You asked me if I was going to kill you off. I said "yes and no".

Yeah... Just read the part about the Cave of Forgetfulness. Makes more sense now.
*Checks PM beeper. Hmm, no reply yet. Oh well.
*To Kelly: Sorry, just waiting to hear from a friend.

Kelly: Well, small trivia moment ... it goes along with the idea throughout my universe (though this doesn't really take place in it technically, since it's just a play) ... that water connects everything and Moraine has an influence over freshwater. In Return to Labyrinth, Mizumi uses her water powers to read one's thoughts. The idea here is that the memory-stealing power is derived from the pollen of the flowers of the Cave of Forgetfulness, which enters the water when a magic river changes its course and runs through that cave.

Cotterpin: ... Wow. You don't EVER do anything simple, do you?

Kelly: My instructor has that same problem with me. *sighs* She hates that I can't seem to focus. But I'm ALWAYS thinking lots of thoughts. It's just how I am.

*Smiles. Yeah, we silly creatures tend to do that. Everything shares a connection somehow, even if we don't see it sometimes. *Scribbles down a few things to ask Kelly.

Cotterpin (hearing Newsie sing loudly): Hm. I noticed him.

Kelly (nods): Yeah. At least he can form competent sentences now. That's a relief. *to Ed* We're not keeping you from anything, are we?
