Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

*Kelly goes to Kate's room and knocks on the door to see if she's there*

Kelly (shrugs): Meh. Guess not. I guess EVERYONE'S gone to bed. Oh well. Might as well, too. *goes back to room and falls asleep*

*comes into room*
Gobo: HHey Kate, Kelly was just lookin' for you.
Me: Oh yeah? Guess we just missed each other. I'll go see if she's still up.
Gobo: Sorry, she said she was going off to bed.
Me: Ah well, that's a shame. I'll pay her a visit tomorrow then.

Spike (slaps Kelly with a pillow): Wake up!

Kelly (jumps up): Huh? Wha --?

Spike: Heard Kate was lookin' for ya.

Kelly: Oh, um, right. *head back over to Kate's room, knocks*

Kelly (shrugs, smiles): What we have here is a failure to communicate. *laughs, slips a note under Kate's door*

Hey, Kate, Gobo, Wembley ...

Sorry I missed you. Will try again tomorrow after breakfast. Hope you guys have been doing well. Been thinkin' of you.

*Kelly returns to room 2 to fall asleep for the THIRD time and threatens Spike with all kinds of hurt if he wakes her up again*

Cotterpin (carefully sticks a Doozer stick in Kelly's nose)

Kelly: ZZZZZZ ... gaksnort ... ZZZZZZZZZ ...

Cotterpin (giggles, does it again)

Kelly (mindlessly flings an arm, sending Cotterpin flying, wakes up): What the heck? *snort* Why do I have the weirdest smell in my nose?

Cotterpin (gets up off the floor, grinning): I had a few Doozer sticks with pepper additive made up so I could have fun waking you up. I wanna go see Kate and Gobo and Wembley! I've been up for an hour and I KNOW they're up.

Kelly (nods): Fine, fine ... how'd your date with Waldo go?

Cotterpin (disappointed): Well, I couldn't find him. They live on the second floor and I can't reach the buttons for that dumbwaiter.

Kelly (can't help but laugh): Oh. That makes sense. Sorry. *gets dressed* Alright. *looks around for Spike* Where's Spike?

Cotterpin: He said he needed to hang out with the Scavengers for a few days. He said I had to keep you company while he's gone.

Kelly: Okay. Whatever. *panics* Not that I don't want your company, Cotterpin! I just ... uh ... wished he'd leave a note or something.

Cotterpin (grinning): He did ... ME. *giggle*

Kelly (sighs): Okay, let's go over to Kate's and see if they're there.

*I open door after Kelly knocks* Oh, good morning you two! What, no Spike? Well, I guess he needed room to stretch his legs, so to speak. Come on in!
Gobo: Hi Kelly. Hi Cotterpin.
Wembley: Kelly and Cotterpin are here? *comes closer to door* Oh, hi guys! What's new?

Cotterpin (outside Kate's door, inhales deeply): GOBO! WEMBLEY! YA IN THERE?

Kelly (embarrassed): Way to wake up half the dorms, Cotterpin ....

Kelly (now REALLY embarrassed): Sorry about Cotterpin. She yelled before we realized you were opening the door. *blushes deeply*

Cotterpin: Yeah, Spike needed to go visit his friends over in New Pangaea. *whispers* I'd tell you why, but I don't want to make Kelly upset. You know how she's been.

Kelly (rolls eyes): Hello, I'm right here ... I can hear you, Cotterpin. *to Kate* So, how have y'all been?

*giggling* Impressive! Yep, we've been up for about an hour now..but I can't speak for everyone else in the dorms. How've you been?

Kelly (nods): Been having some rough spots ... but I've more than cheered up now. Currently anticipating watching Terminator and Wolverine when they come out.

Cotterpin: Yep. Any movie about sarcastic rebels or robots -- and you've got her full attention! *to Gobo and Wembley* Hi! What have you guys been up to lately?
