Ah yes, the new movies. Robots are fascinating, though I'm not much for the intense action movies myself.
Gobo: *to Cotterpin* Things are alright around here, I guess. Kinda quiet for the mostpart, but when we get board Wembley and I sometimes slip into the common room and watch Lefty make a fool of himself.
Wembley: Yep, why, you never know what he'll do next!

Cotterpin: Yeah, we noticed that too. Waldo and I, I mean. *blushes*

Kelly (smiles): It's less the action than the story concepts I'm attracted to. And Hugh Jackman, naturally. :stick_out_tongue: At least with Terminator, I've been addicted to watching the TV series, and I've always found AI/robot stories fascinating ethical and psychological metaphors.

Gobo: *to Cotterpin* You and..oh, that's that shape-changing creature that lives in room 15, right?
Wembley: I think he's called a computer graphic.
Gobo: Yeah, that's right. *back to Cotterpin* So, you've been spending time with him, eh?
Wembley: How nice! Are you going out with him?
Me: *to Kelly* Yep, saw a little of one of the Terminator episodes, and one of the movies. I could get into them, I guess. The trouble with the series is that when it started, I had class when it was on, so now I doubt I could follow it.

Cotterpin (blushes): Well ... when we get the chance, we see each other. I gave him my walkie-talkie, but synchronizing our schedules can be kinda hard sometimes. *giggles* But he fascinates me.... *grins*

Kelly (nods): That's how I am with Smallville. However, check out fox.com. They have the eps on there. The beauty of them putting eps online is that, like you and I, people can see them when they get the chance to see them. The series, to me at least, is a lot more psychological in nature (might have something to do with their budget :stick_out_tongue:).

Cotterpin (to Kelly): Oh! Don't forget --.

Kelly (nods): Right. We can't stay. My mother needs me to run some errands with her. Sorry for the brief stay. I'll be back later today. *shakes hands with everyone* Still ... it was good to see all of you again. C'mon, Cotterpin, let's go.

Cotterpin (sighs): Shoulda seen THAT coming.

Me: Boy, I know what that sincrinizing schedules can be like!
Alright, see you later then!
Gobo: See you later Cotterpin! Bye Kelly!
Wembley: Yeah, bye!
*After they've left*
Me: Well, that was a nice visit.
Gobo: It sure was!
Wembley: I don't think Cotterpin wanted to leave though.
Me: *trying not to laugh* Oh, that Cotterpin. Anyway, we'll have plenty of time to hang out later.

Kelly (watching TV in the common room with Cotterpin, clicks off TV): The news programs are really going downhill ....

Agreed. They're nothing but violence. That's why I watch the Daily Show instead.

Kelly (looks up): Oh, hey, Ed! The way some of those channels act now, soon they'll all be The Daily Show. It's rather disgusting, actually. *pats open seat on the sofa* Care to sit down?

Sure... Thanks. *Sits down. The thing is I LOL with that show. There was even another Muppet reference the other day when Jon had trouble pronouncing the Bahrainian city with the pirate standoff. :zany:
