Announcements.

Hello from the dorms management team. Various announcements to get to today.

1 We'd like to apologize to Dr. Teeth, as his birthday was this last Monday, July 23. If you have any gifts or cards to pass along, please leave them at Room #28's door with Maddie or at the party later tonight.
2 We would also like to apologize to Bert, as his birthday was yesterday, July 26. If you have a card or gift, leave it at Room #25's door as he's currently rooming with Ryan until Bryan gets back or at the party later tonight.
3 Needless to say, there'll be a party later tonight for both Dr. Teeth and Bert, hope to see you guys and gals there.
4 Claudia will be looking after Telly for the weekend until Bryan gets back, as Kyle will be leaving on a weekend getaway of his own. To that end, Kathy, Erin, and Beth, please PM me to know if you can look after any or all of the monsters from Kyle's gang.

Ryan: Hey, Bert, what's wrong pal?
Bert: No one remembered my birthday, Ryan.
Ryan: What? No one remembered? Not even Ernie?
Bert: *sighs* No... not even Ernie.
Ryan: Are you sure?
Bert: *nods* No one even wished me a happy birthday...
Ryan: Maybe they were waiting for the perfect moment.
Bert: What do you mean?
Ernie: *jumps out* Like right now! *blows noise-maker in Bert's ear* Surprise!
Dormies: *jump out from behind couch* Surprise! Happy Birthday, Bert!
Ryan: Yeah, something like that.
Bert: *groans* I should've seen that coming...

Erin: (on phone) Uh-huh...okay, sure. Take care. (hangs up phone) Guys, start prepping the sofa bed, I think we're going to have company over the weekend.
Storyteller: Oh, how nice.
Erin: I've got a pot of clam chowder in the fridge, ready to heat up on the stove, and I'm going to make some bread later on, so we're all set for dinner tonight.
Nora: Is the chowder homemade?
Erin: You bet - I got the recipe from a friend while I was in Boston a little while back.
Storyteller: Oh, goodness, we got Bert's birthday mixed up...and I have this lovely rock crystal carving of a pigeon to give him.
Nora: Yeah...and we got him a few new stoneware bowls, good for soup or oatmeal.
Erin: Well, we're not too late...let's run them up to him, shall we?

 

[The Count]

*On the phone... OK, will send him over. *Finishes and hangs up.
*Side window opens up into the common room: Hey Maurice! You got a room for the weekend. You'll be with Erin in Room #7, I think you'll like them as they happen to be well acquainted with your old friend Richard.
*Side window closes down and the furry blueish monster walks the length of the hall, turning to his left first, and meets Erin and her crew.

Beth: Hey guys, we've got another guest for the weekend
Cookie: Who?
Murray: ME!
Cookie: Oh boy! A fellow fuzzy monster. You not blue, but that ok
Murray: I am happy to be staying with you guys, thanks for having me
Beth: It's no problem
Big Bird: It's like a big slumber party!
Red: Ooh, does that mean we get to stay up late?
Beth: Sure, why not
Wanda: We could go get some movies
Beth: That sounds like a plan

Bunsen: Thankfully, they were found. Oh, um..well, Telly I forgot to welcome you to our--humble room. *Tries to move his little table with flasks and tubes ect.*

Claudia: Don't wory Telly I won't let him do anything strange on you and I assure you we are very much normal.

Bunsen: Oh look, a penny.

Claudia: *Rolls eyes*

Telly: Uh, that's ok. *uncomfortable* I hear you scream sometimes.

Claudia: That means I am HAPPY : D.

Bunsen: No, that means she is under stress while slowly losing every bit of sanity left.

Telly: Kyle...please come back home...>_<

Beaker: *pats Telly*

Claudia: Oh! It was Ernie and Dr Teeth's birthday!

Bunsen: So it was. I suppose we should take a trip to the mall--where the normal people are.

Claudia: Yah, come on Telly we'll have loads of fun!

Telly: Ok!

Gloat: *finally realizes he was being talked to* Hey Claudia, Adams fine, if ya want to we can bring him here

*Just before mall*

Claudia: He could come to the mall with us...you could too!

Bunsen: Suddenly I feel like saying my own full name...Bunsen Honeydew.

Claudia: I'm starting to rub off on you.

Bunsen: Figures.

(a pigeon swoops in and lands on Ryan's window with an envelope in his beak containing a birthday card from Bryan)

Ryan: Bert! Bert! Brian sent you a birthday card via air-mail!
Bert: Eheheheh! Oh, that was so nice of him.
Ernie: C'mon, old buddy Bert, we've gotta go get stuff for your party!
Bert: Oh, okay!
Ryan: *shakes head*

Uh, it's Bert's birthday, not Ernie's Claudia. Remind me to send you something I hope will cheer up your day.
Looks like everyone's set... Murray's with Beth, Maurice's with Erin, Telly's with Claudia and Big Bird's also with Beth... Though I thought I saw Bryan here somewhere. Oh well.
Count: That leaves us with 1, 1 furry friend to find a home for.
*Knock on the door.
Now who could that be?
Herry: Just lovable ol' Herry Monster. Heard you had a room I could spend the night at?
Count: Of course, set your luggage down and let's go get some snacks before the party.
Herry: Thanks Count.
Oh and Beth, if you want any Muppet movies, I have plenty to share.
