Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Sal Manilla wakes up, stretches, swings out of bed and opens the door to go to the little monkey's room when he sees four white boxes on the doorstep. He looks around suspiciously to see if anyone's watching, then slips the boxes into the room and closes the door.

Sal: (shaking Johnny Fiama, whispering) Johnny, Johnny.. wake up! check this out!
Johnny: (surprised) What?! Am I on fire?.. Save Yourself!
Randall: Stop.. ::yawn:: .. yelling .. ::yawn:: ... Johnny .. ::yawn:: .. it's too early .. and it's Saturday
Sal: Nothing like that Johnny, but someone left these nice white boxes at our doorstep.
Johnny: Great, Sal.. build a fort out of them
Sal: I think there's something inside.

Johnny rolls over and sits up on the bed. I climb down from my top bunk and sit beside him as Sal brings the boxes over. Don Music is snoring away, oblivious to everything.

Sal: (ripping open his box) Oh, wow, guys! It's our Senior Member Kermit The Frog badges!! And they even put my name on one!

Sal celebrates, while Johnny and I open our boxes and try on our new badges.

Don: (still half-alseep) What's going on? Did I win something again?

Kim: Word around the dorms is that we've got some new dormmates.
Gillis: Did this "word" happen to say who our new neighbors are?
Kim: The guy's name is Randall; he's helped me acquire parts of my Muppet music collection. AND from what I hear he's a fellow Marx Brothers fan. Wonder who his favorite is...
Tosh: Who's he rooming with? Any Fraggles?
Kim: Doesn't appear so. But Betty Lou might find the name of one of his roommates familiar: Don Music.
Betty Lou: Don's here? Really?
Kim: Yup.
Gillis: Who's this "Don Music" fellow? He sounds familiar...
Betty Lou: He's one of Sesame Street's resident musicians. Actually, come to think of it, you remind me a bit of him...without the banging your head on the piano part.
Gillis: *blinks* The who on the what now?
Kim: Never mind, Gil. Randall's also rooming with Johnny Fiama and his right-hand monkey, Sal.
Boober: Johnny's right hand is a monkey?
Kim: No! *sighs* Why don't we just go up and say hi, and you'll see for yourselves. Okay?
Roomies: Okay. (Tosh: Let's go, Beast).

Randall: Hi Kim! Gillis, Tosh, Betty Lou, Boober! Nice to meet you guys. I think Chico's my favorite Marx Brother, but it's so hard to choose.
Johnny: (picking up Tony Bennett, who apparently fell down) Who's there? Fans?
Sal: No, no Johnny.. they're Fraggles.. and Kim and Betty Lou.
Johnny: Tell them hello from me.. I'd greet them myself, but Tony needs me.
Randall: Sorry, guys.. Don Music's not here at the moment.. he had to go get replacement keys for his piano... always banging his head on it you know.
Sal: (shaking his fists) AND knocking over Johnny Fiama's stuff!!
Randall: Oh, and Boober, while you're here.. do you want to do my laundry?

PETER: Hey, Guys, I heard that Johnny and Sal and Don Music moved into Room 30 with Randall

ZOE: Cool, Johnny Fiama and Sal the Monkey

LITTLE BIRD: And Don Music

BABY BEAR: Can we meet them

Don Music: Well, I'm back.. Randall, can you help me install these?

Randall: Sure, Don.. I don't know much about piano repair, but I can't possibly do much more damage than you... (looking past Don into the hallway) .. Oh.. Hi Peter, Little Bird, Baby Bear, & Zoe. How are you guys?

Johnny: Gee whiz.. too many people live around here.. I miss Ma's house. San Diego Bob hung around, but the rest of the neighbors kept their distance.

Sal: (with his mouth full.. and waving to the guys in the hall) Hey guys! You want a canoli?

Oscar: *sees new dormies, trashlid pops up* Who are you?

Uh Kyle... You do know that Oscar's trashcan is on the second floor's common room, and Randall's room is up on the third floor right? Just checking, thought there might've been a misunderstanding there. Is sokay, we rully need someone to draw a mock-up of the dorms one of these days to cut down on location confusions.
*Goes back to bed.

Oscar: *hears Ed* Randall? Hmmmmm that sounds familar. *goes back to the second floor trashcan*

In room 26...........

What are we going to eat today?

Telly: How about triangle sandwiches. *snickers a little*

Maurice: No no no. Why not pizza?

Herry: That would be great but we had that yesterday. How about Monster Meal?

Those are all good choices but we need to eat something else other then what we normally eat.

FilFil: How about Chicken Fried Steak?

Everyone agrees with head nods and Hmmmmmms

Good then it's settle. Chicken Fried Steak it is. I'll head to the store for some more. Ya'll start getting all the stuff ready for the dinner. *heads out the door*

PETER: Tacos

BABY BEAR: Yummy

PETER: Were going to the Gym for a quick workout

Nora: How was everyone's weekends?
Storyteller: A group of us went down to the Gray Grotto for a bit.
Nora: Why the Gray Grotto?
Storyteller: Because it's nice and quiet, and one of my friends had a really bad headache, so we all took her down there for a bit.
Nora: Ah. And you, Erin?
MN: The usual. Recovered from the week, did some homework, worked on a couple of quilts, did some painting, that sort of thing.
Storyteller: Oh, that's nice...so, is everyone ready for Monday?
MN and Nora: (groan)
Storyteller: Me neither.
